Grafting to increase canopy

i was wondering if, you did this but with 2 diffrent plants.. like a weed plant and a starwberry plant or grape bush rasberry ect.. could you get something tastey out it

Negative, the genetic information that represents these traits and all traits for that matter is exclusive to the scion, and /or the cultivar, and will NOT transfer from one to the other.:thumb:

They are too genetically different for the graft to take hold.

You could potentially graft a hops plant to a cannabis one or visa versa. But thats about it that i know of.

Yep. The stuff I drank had a slogan... "Two's too many"
Soooo true :)

You don't have to do any grafting to do this though. From what I understand about how it's made is you simply replace some hops with buds.

Or add the cannabis to the mix, whether it be wheat beer or whatever. I like a wheat beer now and again, but mostly I choose not to consume alcohol, it is the worst poison on the planet for people with addiction issues.IMHO!

so you could make pot beer ?

Actually no this wont make pot beer, like Hiker states you ferment hops & bud together in the beer making, grafting a hop plant to a marijuana plant will just grow normal hops and normal bud no different if you would graft to strains of marijuana, they would stay the same type just grow on one stem.

And if you used the grafted ingredients together it would make a beer. Beer is a description of a process, not necessarily a product. You can make beer out of anything you want. I make teas out of organic materials, but it's a tea by definition, not something a person would care to drink.

You don't drink your bat guano and seaweed tea? It's chock full of vitamins and minerals!

if i only had room to grow 1 plant, in theroy i could take, we will say 3 (could be more), 3 diffrent strains of marijuana and graft them to one plant and grow them up giving you diffrent but grown with same nutes, pot, light, and wat not : )

If you had the room, and the tenacity, you can put two or more plants side by side, scrape down to the cambium, bind the branches together, and cut them loose after they bonded to the plants you wanted them to grow on, without severing them from their mothers while they were bonding. REF only.
