Things are looking really nice Kimber! Not sure if you're aware but a lot of people myself included don't starve are plants at the end feed them right till the end that's when they need the food the most. It's the curing process it makes it smooth to smoke not flushing. I used to be a flusher now I feed until the end. There is a huge discussion somewhere on this forum about it. Anyways plants look great! :thumb:

@oldsmokey Oddly enough I was going to write about the flush and I didn’t bother.

I spoke to a few friends who have smoked for many years and grown for many too. They all use nutrients similar to myself, mainly not organic. They’ve all sworn blind they’ve tasted un flushed cannabis, and it leaves a horrible taste on your tounge. I’ve personally never tried it, well not knowingly. So for me the few possible grams I may lose by not feeding the last 2 weeks, out weighs the risk of having a chemical tasting crop.

I have seen a lot of discussions on it, and while personally I haven’t directly compared it, it’s just not worth the gamble for me. Maybe I’ll do it with 1 plant on this run or the next.

Just took a couple pictures for you things are going good day 13 the flower.

Around 2 weeks left

Tent is smelling beautiful. Been checking all the buds to ensure no mold as had a little bit on the grow previous. So far so good, plus the buds seem really fat on this grow.

I’m trying not to get my hopes to high, but I think this grow is looking a lot better than the last.

I often move the buds around just checking for anything odd, my fingers nearly got stuck, its so damn sticky, it’s great!

Already seeing some yellow spots after the plant had it’s first water only feeding a couple of days ago. I guess it’s missing the huge batch of nutrients it usually gets.

@Autofacade Well they got flipped 7 weeks on Sunday. So if I was to add another week they’d be 6 weeks old on Sunday. However because of the trichomes I’m quite sure they’ll be ready by the end of next week which will be 8 weeks from flip.

Yeah super fast. I’ll get some close up pics uploaded soon under 60x to show some trichomes. Just waiting for lights to off at 8pm as it’ll show a bit better I think.

I did cut some off just to dry and test. I do this a couple times through out flush to ensure it’s flushed ok.

All seems well still, no issues. New grow is being a pain in the ass though.

Awesome fella!!! They look lully and pucker! Congrats mate some real baseball bats on there and all the way down!. Remember get a good weight of it once its dry so we can do a comparison of the two techniques. That aside they look fantastic and loving the orange that's coming through on the bit. So crustally!

One of the final updates on this journal.

With UK going on lockdown I didn’t get the chance to dry everything as I planned. I cut everything down on Sunday and just had to place it on the floor in the tent and let it dry. I dried it quickly last time and with bud still left over I was hoping to slow dry this instead, and even considered washing some of it.
Wet weight is 130oz but I expect it to be around 20-25 oz dry.
