Gorilla ventilation setup question

I have 9 plants in 3 gal. pots in the tent starting to flower now. No dirt on my floor though. I don't go for that. Keeping it clean keeps bugs away.

Those plants sure fit the tent! But I don’t see how a clean floor keeps bugs away. Dirt is dirt no matter if it’s in a pot or on the floor but your methods sure seem to be working. Peace out Doc!

Dirt alone probably wont bring bugs. But once a person starts leaving dirt on the floor I can only imagine they leave dried up leaves & stuff too; which will bring bugs. If you give the bugs a livable environment with food you have a higher risk of contracting pests. I had a gnat infestation once when I made the mistake of using Miracle Grow Soil. Must have been full of larvae. Never used MG again & never another gnat problem. When I grew in my shed I got a couple crickets & in the house once in a while I get a fly buzzing around. But that's been the extent of my bug problems throughout my 4 years of growing. So keeping a clean tent / grow area is a priority for me.

I use Zip Ties to hold my fan up & 1 of the Black Straps around the filter to hold it up. I also use a Bar Light & have no issues. But I top & LST my plants so they usually only get about 3' tall. Bigger tent, but same principal. I also have a Fan & Filter outside my tent for intake air into the tent.

Nice set up!

Got the fan installed with zip ties, thanks for the heads up on using them, perfect.
Looks good - you’ll have PLENTY of room to work with, and if you find you need a little more room, remember the exhaust fan and the carbon filter can always be moved outside! Good luck!

Haha, I also wonder if you'd need another pre filter as changing it around to go outside the tent would negate the effects of the pre filter that comes with most carbon filters. I'll admit, as I sit staring at the upgraded filter/fan for my larger tent, I'm thinking about it!!

Just getting things off the ground here and have equipment showing up on my steps. I picked up a gorilla ventilation kit and have a few questions about hanging the fan motor in-line with the filter and get that hung from the ceiling structure of my gorilla 3x3 grow tent.
If you can post pics of what you have worked up it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
I've got the 4x4 tent with the extension. The grow store I buy from adviced me for the same reason. Nice to know they weren't just trying to pad the sale

Got everything ready to add plants. Just got it up and operational so I can see where I’m at with temperature and humidity and making adjustments now before I have to deal with it later. Smart stoner move

You'll want to put your Temp / Humidity Sensor closer to canopy level. That's where the readings are most important.
Unless you use a laser thermometer to read leaf temps.

Figured that out quickly, thanks for spotting that!
