Hey man, just had a look through and the ladies are looking good.
The light green at the tops is just new growth where she is ready to throw out some crazy pistles.
You should definitely start moving that light down a couple of inches every couple of days.
I get my led down to 10" from the tops in flower.
I'll follow along if that's ok, I'm just switching to megacrop so will be interesting to see how you do with it :thumb:

I have one that has four or five inches in the rest. Not sure what to do about it.

You can try bending that tall stem over and tying it down to get better light through the plant. If the stem isn’t too stiff, you should have no issues bending it over.
Not sure exactly what you mean. Someone mentioned supercropping but I read up on it and I saw that it was discouraged for autos and these are autos. Tie it down to what? Like make a big loop out of it? I have canvas pots, fwtw.

Get a bulldog clip, attach it to your pot and use plant ties to pull the top down towards the clip. It’s a form of LST that won’t stress your plant but help even out the canopy, just bend carefully and slowly so you don’t snap the stem
Like this?

Don’t count on the 80 days as being absolute but they do look like they are close to 2 weeks from being ready. I chop my plants when they look ready to me, not by trichome colour or breeder recommended times.

I used to watch for amber trichomes but gave up because I could rarely see them. Watch I watch for now is the swell of the heads. When I see the majority of them cloudy and start seeing “burst” heads, then I harvest. I make hash so don’t want to see a lot of burst heads.

Of the 18 Blue Dream in my tent atm, which are 37 days post flip, some will be harvest around day 50, others may be 2 weeks later.

The auto I have going will get the axe under the same rule lol

Looking great!

Yes as mentioned watch the trichomes of you can.

Well here I am. I need a magnifying glass? One of those eyepieces?

And my light??? Too low, not low enough?

I'm supposed to have two of one and two of another, but I have three that look the same and one that looks very much different.

Is there a need ti SCROG? Too late for that? Also, I have two in tiny pots that will need to go under the big lights someday soon. Scrogging would make adding them to this tent(same strains) impossible, no?

Whats a "burst head?"
@BudgetLed

The trichomes we look at for judging ripeness are shaped somewhat like a mushroom before it opens its cap which I suspect you know. That round top is where the majority of the Cannabinoids and Terpenes we are after are formed. If you use a 30x loupe or stronger, eyes here getting old so I use a 60x , and watch the development of the trichomes, you will see them start as a relatively clear hair like stalk. As the trichomes mature, the top of these hairs will swell forming a clear bulb or head.

As the heads develop, they will get bigger and turn cloudy and eventually go varying degrees of amber. There comes a point when the majority of the heads are swollen and cloudy and some will start to burst, either from physical damage (hands, bugs, etc) or from being over ripe and leaving a amber stalk behind.

This bursting does not effect the potency of the bud, the good stuff is still there but now stuck to the leaf and no longer protected by the wax cuticle. Because I prefer hash most of the time, I want to harvest when the majority of the heads are swollen and cloudy because I am collecting the heads and burst heads don’t wind up in my hash :)

If making oil or smoking the bud, then it really doesn’t matter that some have “spilled” their contents.

I was just down looking at my crop which will have 6 weeks under their belts on Monday and some of them are getting close. Still some trichomes that have yet to from heads and about 50/50 clear to amber. They will ripen quick from this point on.

Not sure how much you knew about trichomes but putting forth the info as though you knew zero lol but more so because others coming later may not know anything about their development :)
