Good lights

What is the draw wattage? I know it i not 4000W

I would expect it to be somewhere around 400W. It will grow cannabis, I would think in a 3x3 but nothing bigger.

I think you made a very good selection.

@gr865 is correct, they are 400W a piece They can be placed in a bigger area then a 3 x 3 , but you don't want to put them in an area bigger then a 5 x 5 unless its just for vegetation purposes. We do have lots of customers who share pictures with us who are using the same lights. They are getting great growth and nice buds forming. So hopefully you see the same results.

I love my VS4000. I have it in a 4x4 tent and could probably use a bit more light overall. So far I have had great success with it, though. Nice big tight buds and lots of trichomes. I'm considering getting another. Just be careful to measure the output because its easy to over do it with younger plants.

Happy Growing.

Can yall give me an idea how far to keep the lights away from mt plant tops.? Ive got some beautiful babys growing under them now

I measure LUX and PPFD using the app Photone to set my light distance and intensity.

How much do u yield? That is beautiful thanks for the inspiration
Thanks man. My first grow I got just over a pound from four plants in DWC. The pictures are from my second grow in the 9th week of flower. I'm hoping for close to a pound on those as well. Nice dense sticky buds too.:yummy:

I just started using that app too, to measure the light ppfd. I didn’t know about the white paper you have to have around the top of the phone. But nice grow dude

Wow LA, your tent is an inspiration. Very professional. Are you working in the industry? I have followed your mainlining threads with great interest (or is it manifolding, I get them confused). Anyway I'd be interested to see a PAR chart, spectrum chart and/or total PPF number for this light. PS What's the strategy behind the ducting and fan on the floor? Fresh air? Co2? I have a mushroom tent that I'm trying to suck Co2 out of and deliver to 420 tent. Likewise the oxygen from the 420 to the mushrooms, all with cheap boosters etc. All my tents are new setups and my basic airflow scenario is getting me down tho, so I need to refocus on the basics. My lung room ceiling exhaust plan just wont pull cfms so I think I'll detach the duct coming straight from tent, vent into room and install bathroom exhaust fan into ceiling. I thought a direct connection from vent to the duct would work better, now I hope that's wrong! Anyway, hi again, Vivosun, thanks for supporting us.

Hey @ReservoirDog Thanks man. I just started growing last September, those pictures were from my second grow ever (except the bud, that was from my first grow). You may have me confused with someone else, I don't have a mainline/quadline thread.

The ducting is an active intake (a little booster fan) with a filter on the outside. I use the duct to make sure the fresh air is coming into the middle of the tent. I'm lucky to have a fairly large lung room in my basement and don't need to vent outside (much).
