Hey Golden Girl looks great how long ago did you start them in 12/12 and what meduim are you growing coco mix what? drip fed? how many plants do you have under the existing 600wtt lighting, you may have to up the lighting watts for big buds if to many plants.

Hi Doctor Who we have ben really busy and havent been keeping track of time but they have roughly been on 12\12 for about a week the ye were using cana coca hand watering every 2-3 days there is 3 blue cheese and 4 bagseed i agree i think the light is too hight i was just being carefull and didn't want to burn them they have stretched quite a bit but they are looking really healthy lots of bud sites the light comes on in a few mins so i'll lower it before it gets too hot and take some snaps

great Job golden girl, if you can afford it definitely get a 1000wt switchable ballast with hood they run about $300+/- depending on hood and bulb. You are well on your way and will experience rapid growth with stronger lights. Also if you use better pts like airpots or pots from a grow shop with see thru bottoms you will also have faster growth as the soil (coco) will breathe and drain much better than the house plant containers you are using. You can transplant and mix a soil less medium like coco's with Promix HP, Perlite and Vermiculite mixed to an airy blend that will allow you to water less. I have not used Coco's and am contemplating it with my mix I water once every 5-7days and wait til the plants are almost bone dry to insure they use the nutes I am pushing into them.

hi Wingman thx for stopping by i agree with you the pots arn't great next time i go to the hydro store i'm going to purchase some better pot and some trays so they can feed from the bottom a fellow grower i know does this with coca soil and clay pebbles i have drilled alot of holes in the bottom of the containers i've got but there not great everything takes time and money tho and my setup is alot better than it was two months ago but i still have a long way to go i need so much ph meter up and down buffer better nutes bud blood pk 13/14 right now tho the most important thing i need is a 0zone generator the smell is getting ridiculous i recived a germanation kit today i'm not confident germanating seeds especialy since i only have five of each strain and i'm unsure of what to do with the kit instructions arn't too great was considering trying the paper towel method Wimbledon semi Nadal murray starting now peace everyone and thx to everybody who has posted in my thread hopefully we will have some bud porn soon

Nadal, Wimbledon thats beats out talking bud on most days for me! Thats great u drilled holes that is great to hear I was worried about that and pot size always remember the bigger the pot the better for the plant and you as under perfect conditions yield is equal to one oz per gallon of soil.
Many times DIY works better than spending dough and I still use a $5 Ph tester with the drops and getting the color matched up after 25yrs growing I know I need a PH meter but with kids cant get myself to buy one. The Ozone may work or ionozer but I am growing some Alpha Diesel (along with several other strains) and it stinks thru concrete walls no matter what so I dont care anymore. I was Busted and held on MMJ charges so I have not been around. I remember when you first joined our 420Mag Family and now you are doing great!
I am subscribed to your thread and will be happy to assist with anything or get someone who can. I am taking a break from Staff but still wanted to keep helping newer 420Mag Patients with questions. I am happy to see you doing well and remember we are all Family here and the only bad question is the one not asked. I think you are doing a fantastic job and we all are proud of you and happy you decided to join our 420Mag Family!

Hey guys I am concerned about the health of my plants over the last two days some of my leaves are turning yellow curling and have black spots on them and i don't know what is causing this any help advice whould be much apreciated other than that things seem ok my buds are developing niceley i'm just worried there going to die before there ready heres some pics we'll start of with the good stuff

looks good the 1 that has the browning is the 1 that was close to the heat right looks to b ok she'll bounce back the bigger ones i would start with the nutes not sure of the ones u got but id cut the recommended dose n half for the first feeding....uhh as soon as ur cuts show some good roots u can plant.... and the t5 for veg would b a good idea if u got the funds there grate and as 4 bloom id go with a 1000 if u have good ventilation....i hope that ancers ur ???? good start tho and the cfl u have should b fairly close as said b4.... put ur hand under ur light and if it is to hot its too close that gos with any lighting ur plants like the same climate u do if ur n ur room and u thank its hot there hot lol feel free to ask anything an im sho me and\or everyone elce will b glad to help

lol k that looks like a cal/mag prob id suggest going to a local hydro store or one on line and order a bottle of calcium magnesium and feed as directed and they jus mite need some nutes hope this helps

Are you giving them any nutrients? Kinda looks like a nitrogen deficiency to me, you are in flower tho and I would expect some fan leaves to start dieing off. More energy is going to the buds!! If you are using any nutrients what kind??

hey guys yes i am feeding them flair form i had been adding 2 tea spoons to a 1.7 litre bottle them on the last feed i doubled the dosege to 4 tea spoons this is still under the recomended dosege but was probabley too much my cousin a fellow grower visited me last night and had a look at my grow he recomended not giving them any nutes for a week or so and then attemt to reintroduce them to the nutes also flair form is pretty cheap stuff so the plan is to feed them just Warter for awhile and purchase some cona coca a and b or some fox farm big bloom i cut most of the dead leaves off and they dont look as bad as they did yesterday here is some pics

Hey guys ty for popping in RedDawg I dont really know whats going on with my blue cheese all there leaves are dying its a shame anyway the bag seed are doing very well lots of nugs lots of frost and there starting to show brown hairs on my next grow i'm goin to purchase a ph pen and up and down and gona go with cana coca nutes a and b i've i'm lucky that the bag seed are so hardy the fact that i have got this far with just tap warter and a terrible rubbish nutes and no ph kit is kinda lucky i'm roughly 3-4 weeks into flowering I cant afford and dont want to spend anymore money on this grow i'm just going to see it out and in a month I should have some smoke I have learned from this grow and hours of reading journals and other online litriture the importance of getting ph levels right feeding the correct amount of nutrients (small doses 1/4 of recomended) and flushing regurley next time i'm going to purchase some trays and take samples of the warter and really study ph and ec levels so i can figure out what the plants need and want before they show physical sighns of deteriation I have x5 nirvana white widow and x5 northern light fem seeds i dont know how hardy these strains are but hopefully i will have better controll of what is going on by then I might sound negative but i'm not i am really pleased with my progress for my first time i have some nice looking plants lots of frosty buds i just feel I can do alot more in the future I will take some pics later my camera isnt the best and t's hard to get a quality shot of the frosty buds anyway thanks for reading and thanks again to everybody who has contributed

check out my mite infested grow..

I didnt slack off the nutes ever.

I had them under 230 watts of fluro the whole grow and i felt the only thing that really stopped my grow from doubling was the mite attack.

Had a lot of issues first time around and in a way I feel its just preparation and a bit of investing in the grow area over a couple of grows and itll pay for itself in those two.

I'm only a personal grower so its no biggy if I dont get 1 pound a plant lol but my aim for next time is 2.5 oz a plant from 2 plants max.

Would do me nice for a year.
