GlimmerGrass's Maiden Grow - Crop King Seeds' Early Miss Auto Fem in Coir - 2015

It's online -- could have knocked me over with a feather when I found out I could get it through the freaking mail. There are a couple of Vancouver dispensaries that are mail ordering medicine across the country. It will be great when I have my own herb, but I always hated buying from drug dealers and now I don't have to. Safer for this middle aged suburbanite :)

Here are the girls today, lovely and green :)

Every day I have to move the lights to give them more room. And these are mostly indicas -- what's it like with sativas? Mercy!

The canopy is filling in and levelling at this point. I'm seeing lots of tops, even with the tiny bit of training I've done so far.

Haha I understand. There's no better feeling then having your postal worker hand you a package with a quarter pound of herb in it

What a world we live! Not to mention there's no more "looking for it". I go online on Monday and have it by Wednesday. Mine comes from My producer in Ontario.

Wonderful feeling :thumb:

Beautiful! Great looking canopy!

Don't be afraid to bend some of those outside girls to lower them rather then lifting the light. I used to raise the light then bend them then turn around and lower the light cause I didn't have to raise it.

But you're doing great! Pat yourself on the back! Can't wait to see some buds on those girls

:high-five:

Okay! I'm feeling very chipper today (thank you, Love Potion :)) and am going to get some twist ties and BEND SOME STEMS, YO. Thanks, Pigeon!

Thanks, Wreckedsummer and Herby! I really appreciate your stopping by :)

Here's the photo I took after I did some more training on the girls yesterday. I made small slits in the sides of the SmartPots and used ordinary twist ties to tie down the taller stems. I ran out of twist ties, so need to do some more today :)

And here they are this morning:

I'll keep working on this until I get my canopy even. Thanks so much for the suggestion, Pigeon!

Beautiful that's exactly what you want. She's looking great. Nice and open and even. Now the light will penetrate that lower stuff and bring up some more toos!

You're killing it man!

:adore: :passitleft:

Thank you so much for chiming in, Going Down, Herb, MJ, beast and Pigeons :)

My MarsHydro 96x5 reflector light just arrived -- wasn't due until Monday but here it is, in time for the weekend! Thanks, Sara!

The box is big but TOTALLY stealthy. Nothing gives it away, not even the name of the company that shipped it. Unboxing:

My first impression is that this thing is huge and shiny :) And heavy! Feels like a serious bit of kit -- not cheap (I made the mistake of buying a cheap LED light -- this isn't even in the same universe).

My spouse and I removed the CFLs from the shower stall and when we turned around, one of the cats had decided to make a little nest in the box. Random and yet adorable.

And here it is. There's weird purple light shining from the shower stall like one of the transporter pods in The Fly. I am super glad I bought a set of ratcheting rope hangers for this thing -- can't imagine trying to adjust it with chain or something.

I'm going to keep a close watch on the girls to see how they respond to the light change. They've gone from actual 187w of mixed CFLs to 210w of LED (do you count LED watts by the watts they pull?). I hope it won't be too much of a shock.

Should I move the light further away from them?
