GDB's Thanksgiving Harvest

Hi GDB, what a nice looking tent and garden.
Thanks for the kind words Stinker!
Plants look Great they have that nice dark green and shiny is always a good sign that all is right .
Thank you Smoke. And thanks for stopping by!
Looking great in here Mr. Black. I saw you were using nutes from Roots? I really loved their soil and did not know they had a nute line up. I’m really liking the complete veg and complete bloom from Raw/NPK Industries. Puff Puff Peace GDB.
Thanks NTH.

Yeah, Roots has a complete line of both liquid and dry nutrients. I've been seeing good things with the dry stuff.

BTW, I saw your new bambino this morning. Congratulations proud papa! :Rasta:

I was reading through one of my old threads where I had a seed emerge from the surface but then die a few days later. The good Mr.S offered these words of encouragement:
I was full of it back then. Ah, those were the days. Hey, whatever happened to that pin up of me that I sent you? Did you ever get it mounted on the wall you cleared off?

See what I mean?

Hello growers.

I've got a quick update on the babies on their day 35.

I was able to begin training on the upper nodes this morning.

Here's a pic of how they looked before I got to the top nodes:

And here's a pic of after: (PE = Pineapple Express, right rear is Fruit Punch auto)

Because I took so long to top the 2 Grandaddy Blacks they both have too many nodes. While I did remove the bottom nodes from each, by the time I got around to topping them I believe I sliced off the 6th (or perhaps the 7th) node. So each plant has either 5 or 6 levels. They're too compact for me to count at this time, but I can see that there's a lot that is being covered/shaded by the upper nodes.

I was considering topping them again and cloning the cuts from the tops, but I don't want to do any clones right now. I'll need to deal with this issue down the road.

In the 4x4 the frontrunners remain idle. They're both at the same height as they were when I flipped them on the 15th. Hopefully, stretch will begin soon. "Move along folks. There's nothing to see here":

That's all I've got for today.

Thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Hello out there!

I've got some movement on just one of the flipped frontrunners on Flip + 5!

The Purple Dream (right) has grown up 2 inches over the past 2 days, from 11 inches tall to 13 inches.

Her running mate, the Purple Tahoe, remains unmoved at 7 inches tall.

The babies continue to plug along. This morning I was able to get a good peek underneath the largest Grandaddy Black (front right). It's a hot mess! I removed the bottom node and now 5 levels remain. So it turns out that when I finally got around to topping it I was taking off the 7th node. Geez.

BTW, that Fruit Punch auto (right rear) is somewhat perplexing. She is frozen in time. Her appearance doesn't seemed to have changed at all over the past few weeks. Not that I have seen anyway.

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace.

I'd be tempted to give that Fruit Punch auto
A little shot of Easy Weed....maybe the K and phosphorous will give her a little kick in the ass...although I doubt if that's the accepted way to treat "frozen in time" plants, but it probably couldn't hurt... :cheesygrinsmiley:
The other three look real good, those are going to be some branchy ladies!

Hello growers.

It's funny how when you have a few plants going it always seems to be the slacker that gets the most attention and TLC! Well that's been the case with my Fruit Punch auto. I've paid a lot of attention to her and tried to ensure that I'm never late feeding her, etc.

However, after having a look a @LKABudMan's plant of the same strain, which is, by the way, about 20 days younger than mine, I have concluded that I just have an auto being an auto.

She's just not going to grow. It's her day 61. She is small but healthy.

I gave her a closer look today and noticed that at least a few of her pistils are beginning to change colors.

I recently top fed her with 3 tblsps of malted barley flower after reading some discussion on the forum about speeding up plants at the finish, but I'm not expecting any major development from that.

And that's today's update.

Thanks so much for all the feedback:

And clean! Clean is a virtue!
Thanks Stone. It's all the shiny surfaces! I love to wipe them down. :)
Grow looks great mister to another sister :)
Thank you ma'am!
Your plants are looking so happy and healthy. You’re really making a case for them grow dots! I may need to give that a try soon.
Thank you HH! Using the Dots leaves one time to soak their feet and do all kinds of other nice things!:)
I like the way you tie them down gonna hve to try it this way , the fish hooks makes it somewhat difficult to water nd or feed . Nice 👍
Thanks Mello!
With those huge fans it's no surprise you couldn't tell what was going on down under the GDB. And I got nothing on that auto other than maybe getting it closer to the light to see what that does!
I don't think any move will change the course of that auto Shed. She's a true auto!

Easy Weed, huh? I was thinking maybe some aloe vera powder! :laughtwo:

Hello growers and welcome to the weekend!

This was Silica Saturday for the babies on their day 39.

Each of the photo-fems got an initial dose of .5 liters of MS Stout silica. Then they were fed water + SNS 209 (@ 8ml per gallon) to run off.

Next months likely POTM, the Fruit Punch auto (right rear) got a dose of Recharge today (@ 2.5g per gallon) to run off.

The GDB that's front right is striving to be a big palooka of a bush. Looking forward to seeing how she goes!
