you know it’s funny, I’m sure you’ve seen but my DDa made it to day 57 without so much as a pistil. She’s in 12/12 Now and shes shaping up to be like a 4 foot tree.

I certainly have been following your drama, Chef! What gets me about your issue is that I've never seen a Dark Devil photo mentioned or for sale anywhere. I think if you've got one, you are one lucky dude! :Rasta:

The clone I took of this plants just sprouted some tiny roots last night. We’ll see how she grows in 18/6 when the roots are big enough. It’ll probably be 5-7 days before I transplant her into a solo cup
 
Looking good bro. I vegged 4 plants for 45 days the last 2 grows and my tent was/is fully packed I wouldn't veg passed 50 with 4 plants in a 4x4. Just a heads up. That's with mass supercropping/training to make them smaller/shorter too, they'll blow up out of nowhere. You're experienced to handle that though, so I shall be watching:) going to be a blast!

Thanks for the tip about 50 days max, Havoc. I sure don't want my tent to be any more packed than what I've seen you do! :Rasta:
 
I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. It’s strain dependent for sure, some plants just aren’t that vigorous. Also it depends on how you plan to up pot and what size pot you’re thinking of finishing in.
 
There goes the neighborhood!

I pulled the trigger this morning. After watching the Blue Dream'atic stretch to 2.5 feet above the soil in 53 days from seedling without throwing a single pistil, I moved her out of the auto tent and into the flower tent. Her name has officially been changed to Blue Dramatic. :laughtwo:

She's being fed 4.5g Mega Crop and drinks like crazy, easily taking 2 to 2.5 liters every other day in her 3 gallon pot. Two days after watering, her pot is routinely light and dry.

I hope she doesn't disturb her new tent-mates. :Rasta:

The TDs are doing what they do! There is still a noticeable difference in bud development between the larger one (left) and the smaller one (right), with the small girl flexing her stuff a bit more.

As is my take on it. I’ve definitely held plants in veg for longer on purpose by slowing down the up pot.. or if the strain just is a slow grower, sometimes they just need 60+ days to get to a good size... just ask @beez0404 about his star pupil

I feel you, Chef. To me, you have merely stated the obvious. Every strain is unique. Indeed, even different seeds of the same strain can grow radically different. Pack of seeds..."Box of Chocolates." :Rasta:
 
Woke up Wednesday morning to find a bunch of really deep yellow leaves on the larger TD. Something has really gotten locked out!

In retrospect, I think she has been complaining about something for at least the past week. Her color was not quite right and her budding seemed to have stalled. I need to get better at taking action as soon as I see a deficiency! I always seem to wait until a minor thing becomes not so minor. :Rasta:

I'm going to up the Mega Crop dosage of the larger plant from 5.9 to 6.4 and temporarily stop using the Sweet Candy. First, however, I flushed her this morning with 5 gallons of plain water. Later today, I'll top her with about a liter of the MC at 6.4. Then I'll let her dry out a bit and proceed with normal feedings to run-off when she seems ready.

(BTW, it is not lost on me that the TD issue came to a head after the first night she spent with the interloper Blue Dramatic. I'm not trying to blame the Drama queen, but neither do I believe in consequences. :rofl:)

I support you plan of action (already in progress). 6.4 of mc is pretty high, but each plant is different, maybe that’s what she needs?! I’m usually in the 5.5 range during bloom. Hopefully that blue dream starts flowering for ya soon!

Welcome, Davef! I don't push it hard on purpose. Sometimes you get a plant that demands it, and I'm pretty sure I've got one of those. :Rasta:
