Gator's Cage

Re: Gators' Cage

While I've found that shade-side leaf and bud will sport trichomes,
I've removed a couple of messy overlapped fan leaves.
There are too many plants in that small box, but I like to learn limits by pushing.
Light penetration is good with this configuration, so I may 'get away' with this.
Training and pruning are normal, mainstream horticultural steps to success.
So yes, I prune but minimally. Fan leaves are the factories, branched buds the product.

Re: Gators' Cage

awesome set up! very very nice!
I'm happy to share my journey of discovery. Welcome
A+ for unique creativity. great work gator. Cant wait to see that abundantly full for buds.
Thankyou McBudz, your influence is here. My pH meter is the best 25$ I've spent to cultivate, and that's in a grow with a lot of low cost pieces put together.
Also, I'm running GWS in box 2, with another tray of the same cut three days back. You said it's good, I'll give it a better chance than these over-packed PEs in box 1. It has my only CMH bulb.
"Abundantly full" is such a nice thought, feels like a bong hit. :peace:

I don't prefer yellow light, but I'll use it - for now

Re: Gators' Cage

I love bare bulb grows especially vert.
Glad you you found me, brother Butcher. I'm 'all in' bare bulb vert, WTW coco w/ H&G Cocos. Additives when finance permits. Using shop sample Hydroplex till then. Pro-Tekt in all grow brine(nute soup).

Re: Gators' Cage

This is where the action is, down inside the cage
With just 250 HPS, the trichs are well engaged
Fan leaves reaching for too much turn yellow in slow flame
Life's short and sweet in Gators' cage, do good then get out' the way

Re: Gators' Cage

Dam Gator, your doing a great job over there!!

Those girls are going to start fatting up after your 5 week going to be a great harvest looking forward to see what you pull of this setup.

How long did you veg, tall? Been wondering how small of a pot i could grow in and still get a nice fat cola with a good yeild.

Will be watching im hooked.

Intellect agrees, my heart wants it now

For six weeks after the cut they lanquished in 2&1/2 oz dixies
Were scrawney 8" when they met real light in the cage, from T8 shoplights in the nursery
48 hrs with the CMH, roots just started to bite in those new pots when flipped
I think average finish height will be 21"
