Here are the clones again. You can see the CFLs in this photo. I have four of them in the center, just above the tips. And, one more on each side down a little lower.

They're growing real quick, so I'm gonna switch to 12/12 light cycle very soon.

I made some hash :bong:

I bought this silk screen from the art supply store and used it to sift the trimmings. The kief collects underneath. I collected a bunch of it and put it into a cellophane from a cigarette pack. Then, I fold it up and tape it. Wrap it in some newspaper and get the newspaper wet. Stick it in the oven at 350° f for 10 minutes. Then use a rolling pin to flatten it. Here's what I ended up with.......

1.5 grams of hash. I still have more trimmings too. I might make some more hash, or I might make some butter.

I was taught to heat press hash when I was in Istanbul. Ganja Smoker, your temps are way to high! The kief to be pressed is wrapped in wet newspaper for a purpose - it limits the temperature of the kief to 100C. While the newspaper is wet, the hash will not get any hotter. The temp you are using is close to the vaporisation level for THC and you will be damaging your hash and diminishing the flavour and aromas. Terpenes boil off quickly if you are not careful, leaving your hash with a bland odour. Try it again but only have your oven temp set at 250F. Make sure the newspaper does not totally dry out. I think that you will get a much better result next time.

The beginning of the best part of growing.
How's the heat management with the hps? And how much more head room you have for that light? The next 3 weeks is the long stretch and catches many growers by surprize.
I am gonna offer a lil grow advise, hope its helpful for ya.
Pot nets are not considered the best choice of containers for ebb systems because they dry out to fast. Containers with solid sides are considered more appropriate to help with better moisture retension around the main root.
Line the top of the ebb system to reduce drying of the roots, algae protection and excessive water evaporation. Lightproof is preferred but don't use black unless you put a light color over the black. This will help keep the roots at a more tolerable temp and create a humid atmosphere for the roots.
Set up something like stakes, or a net or rings with string to hold the plants upright.
When the root mass starts pouring out of the nets the containers will tilt and may fall over.(hope you get top heavy buds)
Top off resevoir everyday or at least every other day. Try to do this thru the first month of flower because they drink very heavily during this time period and really don't slow down on the water consumption til the 6th week or so.

I'm happy to report that my very first attempt at growing turned out better than I ever could have expected. I budded two white widow plants, grown from seed. The dry weight was over 7 ounces......I didn't actually weigh everything though. I packed up twelve jars with dry buds and about a week later I weighed the buds. The total weight of the twelve jars came to 193 grams. I never weighed the buds in the two big glass containers. I would say they have at least an ounce each.

I've been smoking weed for 15 years and I can honestly say that this is some of the best bud I have ever smoked. You can do it too!

I just went thru your whole journal and I gotta say, damn dude, it turned out very well, congrads. Truly an inspiration, great stuff. 7oz of 2 plants.. I can't wait to see how the other plants turn out.. You'll be getting a pound off those 4 plants if all goes good! :smokin3:
 
Just got back from Amsterdam not too long ago and mainly smoked WW. With some 70% thc hashish. Looking at those buds make me want to smoke the screen..lol
