Labor day has had arrived
summers over.Hope you had a good one.
Back then I ran @ViparSpectra , great lights.
I believe it was 900 & 700 w lights in the flower rooms.
And 400 and 200w in the veg rooms and 100w in the cloning room, I think.
Everything was lost in the fire and my memory is a touch wonky
State of the art when new. Hehe

Hi man,
quick question,
is it just the older lights had the purple look to the LED spectrum, or what am I missing, both lights I got, had really good reviews, but neither look like that. they are red or white /blue light ..no purple. am I missing some spectrum?
I'm using these 2 lights:

It’s original LED. technology.
Commonly referred to as Blurple lights.
Modern LED’s are more efficient.
More whites and reds.
Makes pulling 2 pounds every 4 weeks that much more difficult.
Stick with your modern led’s you’ll do much better.
They are still available but considered inferior today.

Lights have improved a lot since then.Oh ok - cool, I'll keep the black light in my smoking room and enjoy the higher yields in the grow room
I wouldn’t change my @VIVOSUN VS650 for anything.
It’s an amazing light.
