G.C. Tangerine Dream Auto - DWC

After their roots get established you won't say that anymore.:thumb:
I sure hope so! I noticed twice now that some of the New growth was turning purple so I changed out the rez and they started doing fine. I have had a problem of keeping the ph stable. Every night when I come home it's in the high 6 almost 7.

@Icemann420. Ive been keeping my rez temp cool by having my air pump outside my temp so it pumps cooler air into the rez as well as using frozen water bottles. Now I have heard that frozen water bottles can damage the roots. Have you run across something like this?

True that turbo the bottles touch the roots and freez or chill them and slows the growth I pull nutreant water out of the bucket and flash freez it. Well not frozen but nice and cold lol and pour it back in

Your ph is going to drift up for a while with new hydrotununtill your out of seedling faze and are able to lower your Rez level and with minimal nutrients in there there isn't anything to buffer Or hold the ph and really the plant doesn't need ph water until its using nutrients. So figure it like your practice to maintaining a proper pH while and grow and bloom

Another thing with water bottles is your introducing BPA plastic particles into your reservoir which can be intake by your root system to your plant as your nutrients break down the water bottle so now you will b smoking microscopic plastic particles

You should have painted the bucket white or got that reflective tape like I suggested black is known for absorbing and holding temperature while white is the reflector

I actually just watched a documentary on bpa and plastics all together. And it's a known fact that plastic particles can't b removed from water it's actually changing the structure of water its self and over 70% of all water is contaminated. All my buckets are bpa free also the airline and my pump is for human air consumption. My family is vary into being earthy and leaving a light foot print

Brake through idea how about you put the bucket in a cooler and add ice and water on the outside
That is a good idea, but you will need to adjust how much ice to make sure the roots do not get too cold.

As I'm walking through lowes looking for reflective tape I have to stop by the lights wanting to pick up supplemental cfls for the grow and well for the house then look at the fans and the de/Humidifiers then ducting and it just goes from one thing to another. And I said this was gonna be a cheap low budget grow. Pfffffft.
