You know, it may be a ratio thing. I wonder if his/her mix (reservoir) was a lot bigger than yours. I forget, some people have a hard time keeping the ppm's down based on how they mix their nutes.

I wonder if you could mix in a larger container....... But proportioning would be a pain in the #$% afterward.
 
Just what I've read. I haven't played with water growing in a LONG while. But others are running upwards of 500-1000 ppm.
 
Groundwater comes up around 200ppm here (hard but clean) so that would be almost nothing.
Most comparisons with ppm numbers are useless. Two different scales for starters, most people don't know or don't mention which one they use. Some people use a total number some only use what they added to the starting water. And then the whole environment thing in regards to nute burn really makes comparisons irrelevant. You have to go by what your plants want, not what other people's plants were happy with.
 
Woke up this morning and check on the plants like I do every morning. Lift up the lid and ROOT ROT! BAD! I Checked the temp and it was 76°f. Haven't had a problem with rot before not sure why I'm Having it now? Since I have gotten my hydroguard I use 6.25ml per bucket with is more than the requirement. I went ahead an added another 5ml to each one. I guess when I get home I'll make up a batch of ph water with h2o2 and let each plant sit in it for a bit to try and kill it.
 
Man that sucks getting the rot I'm down to 4 weeks on my grown things are looking amazing and happy my way

That is a rare one.....probably nice if you've been working on it for a while.....

I'm not real far from him, by what I know. I don't know his exact location, but I know I can be there in under 10 hours or so. Well, on the bike.....

That's the issues 2 1/2 gall Rez I believe it's time To bump it up to a 5 gall and run 4 gall of water and the temp will hold longer in more Rez
