They're all doing well.

The Kush Auto I believe you're talking about has turned the corner, I'm slowly upping the nutes and waiting to see the yellow fade away. The red spots aren't going away so those are a battle scars of a life well lived. I did some back building with her last night, I'm hoping that'll fatten her up a bit. All that trimming from last week has grown in and she's looking better. Hopefully all the yellowing will fade in the next coupla days.

the bud is looking good :)

The one looks close and could be done anytime but as you pointed out, the others is a bit behind. You want the buds to be "set" #1 is, but you also want to time the cats to be right before the buds really take off.

Unlike Penny, I count from day of flip. I don't pay any attention to breeders times, I just harvest when they're ready which I base on a few things, trichomes usually mostly cloudy with a few ambers (matter of preference) is the main thing, you also can tell she's done when she stops drinking (or slows) and you also want most of the pistils to have turned brown and receeded into the buds.

P.s. there is nothing wrong with the way penny counts. That probably gets you closer to breeder times. Is that why you do it that way Penny?

I guess it boils down to choosing one or the other, either way is fine for keeping track of your flower times. I also base the flowers maturity on trichome development. Indicas I prefer to be mostly cloudy with very little amber. Sativas sometimes won't show amber at all so i look for them to stop drinking with most pistils turning dark and receding. At the end of the day it has to do with personal preference really. Don't be afraid to experiment and find what you actually prefer.

this is all very interesting stuff to learn. thank you for sharing!

day 92 gave them a good watering today with growth ionic drench and some tea. were finally getting some spring weather and the snow is melting. the sides of the roads are packed with deer grazing on the hills that have melted on the north side exposing some bare ground. me and the wife went into town tonight to get some hot dog buns for grilling. and in a fourty mile round trip we saw well over 200 deer. we did not do the speed limit tonight, every two hundred

feet or so we were slamming on the breaks.

ok, so there is definately a size difference between the norther lights buds and the critical mass buds. northern lights is 7-9 weeks, critical mass in 8-9 weeks flowering time. they look like they have about a two week growing difference between them. my question is, if the northern lights are ready to be harvested 2 weeks earlier than the critical mass. what is my best option for drying them while the critical mass finishes up in the grow tent? i have 6 one liter "my pharm jar" curing jars with digital humidity gauge built into the lid, and the the corresponding drying packs. how long do i need to dry my bud before putting them in there? or can i just stick them in there directly after harvest?
