Fuzzy1981's Fox Farm Ocean Forrest Northern Lights 2019

I've never heard of the stretch lasting more than 3 weeks, sure a couple days here or there but the majority of growth you'll see after stretch is gonna be bud development. All that energy is going from making the plant taller to making flowers/ fruit/ colas.
thats good to know! the tops of my critical mass keep popping up from the trellis netting. so i used some bread bag ties to tie them loosely to the netting. they seem to do well with me gently bending them.

LST is good. You know about Supercropping?
I believe that is when you use i light amount of pressure to pinch the stem you want to stop growing, it flops over and in a day or two it stands back up again, and it's ability to grow is reduced. is that o.k. to use when your flowering, cause i heard that is frowned upon. however it may not have been the most reliable source.

Just like the difference between LST and HST (Low vs. High). There are various degrees of super cropping. I don't get so aggressive as the break or snap limbs but some light bending can help to train a branch in the direction you want. If you go a bit further with super cropping you actually do crush the fibers in the branch / stem, ideally without breaking the skin. You can always tape a gnarly wound and it will usually heal to a nice knuckle. I'm gonna be doing some pics of my NL that I tried to kill by dropping two lights on it. Swing by The Emerald City a little later and you'll see what I'm talking about. I'll do a montage so all the pics will be on the same post.

InTheShed did a journal on LST, and he prolly did one on super cropping as well.

Yes you can super crop in flower but I like LST cause you don't have to damage the plants for training. That being said super cropping can produce some very nice results. Once you do checking up on those you'll understand the differences better.

You're training her perfect! Lotsa room in those big squares for those lower shoots to get some light too! Have you tried tucking some of those larger leaves, just for a bit, so the lowers can get light too?

:thumb:
i've been trying to tuck them, it's growing so fast now that it seems like by the next day the smaller leaves have grown into huge leaves that need to be tucked too. but im keeping up with it pretty good i think.
