Hi farmer and Ween.
Good call on the Ge, doc says it helps with strong stems, and other stuff. Good to alternate, but only if plants are thriving. I alway look at it like this: TP feeds the soil, which feeds the plant, builds roots, gets things on track. The GE builds on top of what the TP has achieved, and shifts gears into overdrive. All of this alternating with water....until they get to be big and dry a 1 gal pot every day. This happen when the plants are big and still in the 1 gal pots. When I see that, I do Tp, Tp, H2O , GE, GE, H2O, repeat. Most people up can before they get this big, but I don’t if circumstances allow. I like to wait as long as possible to up an, it all depend on how much space you have and the strain your growing.
Farmer in the root pics the soil looked damp still....is this true? The sides are always the first to dry in the 1gal pots. If the sides are damp, then so is the center. That would indicate to me to hold off another day on the drench, and reevaluate the next day.
Good job on removing the damaged leaves, no need to waste the plants energy trying to repair them.
Alway look to your new growth for indications on how successful your past choices on drench concentrations were. If you see new growth tips burning, back off on the Tp or GE, or give an extra water inbetween. Take notice of you plants reaction to your choices, and learn what they like. Get yourself a loupe to look at the leaves and buds closely.
Know your plants and their private areas well.
