Fudo Myoo's Organic, LED Homegrown Journal

it depends on your bubble coverage. Individually check the bottoms of each of your plugs to see if they are getting wet. If any of the 12 are staying dry, you need another bubbler stone.
Got it, thanks EM!

Feeling a little silly this morning. I revisited my light meter situation and quickly realized I was multiplying by 10 without the meter showing to do so. I either didn’t have my glasses on or I was really high.
:lot-o-toke:
So anyway, knowing this, it was easy to dial in the environment. I turned the lights up half way which allowed me to turn the heater down, which is great because that thing uses a lot of power for what it is. It’s 700w. So now we’re at 76F and sunny, 41000 lux * .019 = 779 umols at the top. Maybe a little much, we’ll see how they respond. Light breeze out of the north, 39% humidity.
I topped the the 2 MP/B2’s, now we’re just waiting on the Neville’s. They better get in gear because the Malawi Panama is not waiting around. I watered everything about a 1.5 quarts with a splash of Recharge. I gave the Neville’s more Boomerang. The sick girl is looking not so sickly anymore.

Well the big Neville’s looked ready to transplant and I need her to get a move on. They are notoriously fast growers and I have a couple inches of MP stem to bury, so getting them both even in the net I think is doable.
Here’s some pics from awhile ago of my spike process. I use an old graphite driver shaft, can’t think of a better way. You can use different diameters depending on how strong you want them.

The inspector says hello and gave the all clear on fungus gnats. We’re being extra diligent this round. As soon as they’re in their final pots, they’re getting a bt inoculation.

Lovely girls you have and the cutest inspector (assuming its you doggy/border collie?)I hope it's okay if I follow along, rooting for your success :yahoo:
Thanks for the support, it’s more than welcome. And yeah, she’s a border collie, smart as they come but a pain in the butt.

Update. Looks like my 2 girls in the back have a cal-mag deficiency. Makes sense I guess. They’re the more indica dominant of the bunch. From what I understand, sativa requires less of everything. I gave them all 10ml of cal-mag with their water to run off. It’s the 1st real good soaking they’ve had. I could up can the Malawi/Panama anytime to a 7 gallon, and probably will tomorrow. My little sick NH is barely hanging on.

I went to the hardware store to get black paint and found this tub. 1st lightproof tub I’ve found this size.

Well-deserved after spotting the damaged leaves for you! Nice find on the black bin, though I've never needed a dome to clone in hydro. Grandpa Tokin actually ran a test and found the undomed ones rooted at the same rate as the domed ones. In case you don't want to bother with the dome I mean....
Thanks for the tip, I can always find use for another storage bin.

Good afternoon friends. The Neville’s Haze looks to be working on her 6th node. I wanted to give her some time to acclimate before topping so I upcanned her.
The room is starting to take shape. I’ll start training them tomorrow before I water. The branches are starting out sideways pretty good so it shouldn’t take too much pulling to start. I think the best part about growing from seed is it’s predictable. I’m going to order some pipe cleaners I think. The ordinary plant wire cuts the branches a little too often.

The girls had a little growth spurt last night. The branches are pretty pliable so I pulled down what I could and checked the soil, it’s still a little damp. I saw a couple gnats so it’s time to napalm. I threw 2 tbs of bits in the bucket instead of watering. They’ll be ready tomorrow. Have a great weekend!
