Here is day 38 update -- Oh, there is a sneak peak at the photo sog grow in the 5x5 tent with the Golliath. Going for 3 pounds with that grow, and I am pretty sure I will get it.

Hey LEDRF, I water my autos in coco everyday with PH5.8, I checked my runoff and it was 6.5. I know you say you never check runoff unless there's an issue but should I be watering with lower ph or keep watering at 5.8??

Topping the right auto can give good results, but I still think bowl training the same strain will give a larger yield. For example I got 14.2oz from auto NL with just bowl training. No pony tail. I have topped autos though. You can also pinch the center stock so it doesn't fall over bit cause some damage. This causes the outer branches to grow while the center heals. Similar to topping but you keep the center bud.

Did my first pony tailing session today at day 21. Is that too early?

I would keep doing 5.8. If the plants are very young, water with less water. I only start to water to run-off after about day 10. I teach how to do his on my free course.

Day 21 is not too early if the plant is growing strong and has like 4 nodes.

Bowl training is lightly pulling the outer branches down, so from the top the plant looks like a bowl. Only start this after the outer branches are as tall or almost as tall as the center branch.

Ponytailing forces the outer (lower branches) to grow faster to catch up to the center branch. Same with pinching the center branch, or even bending the center branch over.

I have a huge issue with these perfect sun leds. It has been been a problem that has been a plague to all the Perfect sun growing community. I'd like to bring it to your attention Neil...
My plants grow too big too fast with nodes that are super tightly stacked producing buds so sparkly I went blind and bud so potent I can't smoke it without turning into an Asian....
