Frosted Guava Auto Coco Grow

Five look nice and full but one looks hungry .
Yeah, you're not wrong, they are not particularly good looking
I decided to add some Potassium Silicate but I must have overdone it because they look to me like the pH has gone awry - I've flushed but I'm thinking my best option is to up-pot into fresh coco, they are still in their 1L starter pots
I'll get on and do that tonight
Cheers for the nudge

:thanks:

Omg!

Less is more!

Have I taught you nothing?

Well I'm not sure what to make of this - I've done everything according to my simple grow pattern, I've calibrated, flushed and repotted but for some reason my plants look sick - scrawny and yellow; wtf?? :hmmmm:
Now I'm seeing brown spots and dropping leaves
Could be a bit chilly perhaps, but that shouldn't be so much of a problem
Only thing I can think of is Pythium/Phytophthora root disease, but that should be near impossible in coco
I did use some peat pots of zon, maybe they rotted to slush? [proper ones don't]
I will soon need to decide whether it's worth keeping the lamp on these
Ah well, just the way it goes sometimes

Hello you!

I think growers, maybe you included, monkey too much with your plants. They are designed to live, for the most part we just need to watch. In my experience if left alone a yellowing seedling, young plant will right itself.

Mega Crop is super simple, yellow add a tiny bit more.

This adding, flushing, uppotting is stressful for a baby plant who is still trying to learn to walk, talk, eat solids. Well I think it is.

Yes, it is usually simple as that but not this time
The wheels haven't come right off this grow just yet, I'll see what I can salvage

You got some pics?
It's not pretty...

Hoping the new growth is a good sign

hope you can figure out what this issue is Roy, the tops look decent though
I'm sure it's down to adding a dose of Potassium Silicate just before we had a cold snap
Because there was no need to water due to cold, I suspect it just sat there and crystalized in the root zone and pushed the pH through the roof
Since the flush and up-pot they have improved but it will take the roots a while to recover/regrow...
I hope lol

We have some greenery and some flowers so all is not lost

They are growing quite well now despite the limey colour on the Frosted Guava
Shamelessly bumping my thread

I see the flower monster is deciding to stay with you awhile, spreading it's sticky fingers of joy.
Do you think the greenery is looking better? Kind of looks better to me from your last pic. :)

Absolutely, they are looking better than the way they were going a week or two ago
I'm now re-interested to see what they produce even if the harvest is small
Best smoke I ever grew was a Hawaiian strain I accidentally grew in sand - no nutes at all and looked sick as fek
I'm adding PK now to get the roots going in the bigger pots - I used to use H&G Roots Accelerator as does @Bill284 but It's not available here any more [Brexit ]

Here's one I chopped the top off last week

dammit, f9.0 is too dark lol
Still thinking on my stretchy britches girl on that.
F9...I've been using F6.3.
But today mine were a bit dark as well, I just didn't have time to fuss around. Had to open shadows a bit when bringing them in to the PC.
