i read somewhere that it would help getting more females if you had youre ligth on for 19 hours and then 2 hours of dark and then 1 hour ligth and then 2 hours dark or something like that and i tryed it and well i cant say that it helped since i had them all under the same ligth, but i cant say that it didn´t help either since i am pretty sure that they are all females... and then i read it somewhere also that it would not stress them as mutch if you gradually changed the ligth to 12/12 step by step sice it happens like that in nature so i thougth hey why not try that... since my biggest fear is that they are hermies but like i sayd im pretty sure that they are not so who knows it migth work... i am at least gonna try it like this and see how it turns out...

This was interesting.. Usually when i get home and its almost time for the plants to go to sleep i turn off a light at a time for 10 min per light untill they are off. i have also tried it mornings but not as much as in the afternoons. I also just did it because i tought it would be just like when the sun slowly goes down like in real life. :rollit:

yeah l8nigthskunk that was what i was thinkin why not try to simulate nature atleast a little bit hehe... and i really dont want to stress them hehe... and this sounds like a good idea to me... so why not give it a try...

Yeah man dont worry about it try it i think it has worked very good for me 2 out of three were female pretty good i would say lol! cause sometimes im also like wouldnt be like what the hell just happened for the plants when the lights suddenly go off! then bam they suddenly turn on again! but when you slowly start your lights its like ok here we go one light a lil bit of daylight..Ok moving along a lil bit another light you introduced it to the light slowly just like when the sun is coming up slowly

i have decided to change the ligth to just 12/12 tomorrow. and well i have no other updates hehe.... but i have some new crappy photos of them all and the babys so here you go enoy.....

The photos might not be the best quality but the plants certainly look healthy and that's what counts.

I forget, are they both confirmed females?

well dogman it´s forbidden to own grow and smoke weed where i come from if i get cougth then i will only get a fine and possibly some jail time but i´m not sure abaut the jail time since its only 4 plants... in this year alone the police have taken over 6000 plants here and that is a record

But is it a case of "Don't make us take notice by doing it in public," or do they actively pursue it with a vengeance?

hmmm well they actively pursue it with a vengeance... hehe its really forbidden to grow weed here... but if you only have a small personal grow they migth not be as hard but its still a bad thing if im cougth and in this year alone they have really been busting growers every week you can hear on the news that some one was busted with 200 plants here and 400 here... i accualy have problems buying weed here now becuz the police have busted all the big growers.... and im not fucking around this is becoming a problem...

One reason back in the day I gave up the thought of growing SoG-style with hundreds of plants and instead settled on several plants in ScRoG setups, each taking up about 8 square feet. That and the fact that I was (ok, AM) lazy.

Well, be careful and be safe and you'll soon be harvesting.

hehe thanks man i will try to be safe... i have been thinking about this scrog growing think i will do that in my next grow i just wasn´t sure if what i had since i started from some bag seeds but now i know i have females and am thinking about taking clones and making a scrog setup... well we will see what i do hehe.... i am also thinking about ordering some new seeds from a online seedbank but im not sure if i should what do you think? do you think its safe to order from these banks or should i just go and buy them my self???

well i have no special new news but everything is going great.... they are all growing really big... i had to tie 2 of them down to stop them from reaching the lamp... my computer is not working any more so i have to use my moms computer and thats why i have not been visiting this as mutch as usual hehe... but i have 2 new pictures so....

Some strains are slower than others.

The maturity of the plants can affect it as well - you would expect plants that have already started growing staggered nodes to show faster than immature plants would.

While you're waiting, make 100% certain that you have no possible light leaks.
