I know I've been slack. I'll get some photos tomorrow night.. Didn't look tonight. Wanna see bigger buds tomorrow!

Actually I figured out my filter problem yesterday; kinda stupid of me not to think of it before..
When I built the cab, I put the 3 PC fans in a box screwed to the ceiling to hold them in place. This box is about 100mm deep, by 120mm wide by 360mm long. I reckon there's at least 60/70mm of space under the fans, so I'll net it off with something and put these carbon pads I found on ebay last night on the bottom, fill it all up with the carbon granules I also ordered last nite and 1 more layer of sponges to hold it all together. All air goes through this box, so I'm hoping I've just saved myself 200 bucks and 2 hours work modifying the cab.. I'll be happy with just most of the smell being scrubbed, so as long as the fans can handle it, should work fine. Fans are at 3 quart capacity anyway, so I can turn them up if needed. The carbon sponges are only cheap, so I doubt they'll do much or last long if they do. But they'll hold the granules together in a "sandwich" and keep small particles from falling or getting sucked into the fans..
Pretty pleased with myself; or would be if I hadda thought of it at the beginning..
Better late than never, I s'pose.. Will post photos of the mod when I do it.. I actually think It'll work really well, so fingers crossed.

Just for you. Grizz...

TEE HEE actually pretty happy; still early daze but these girls are bulking up like weight-lifters. Very happy...
The tall lanky ones are the GTH, which I've decided is going to be special.. So many pistils.. So much sparkle..
Trichs developing nicely so far on all; the underside of some of the sugar-leaves are already covered..
Enjoy...

Was a bit worried I'd over-fed them last week... Was a mild feed but maybe the Gogo was overkill... But no; so far so good.
This is the start of day 36 since flip, minus about 12 days for total flowering, so... Day 24! I think!! Keep it comin'!!!

Looking great man.. Damn they packed it on since last update.. Awesome bro...

Cheers, Weasel.. Hope you are well, dude.. I am tryin to contain my hopes and dreams to more realistic beginners targets but these girls seem to be dead-set on blowing that away... Still so early on with another 4/5 weeks to go so plenty of time to screw it all up; a bit of luck and a fair breeze will see some nice fat flowers here very soon..
I'm a bit jealous of your grow, to be honest.. I found out where I can get some Mama Thai locally, thinking about giving it a crack in Summer... wasn't gonna grow this Summer cos of potential heat issues in my little box.... Maybe Mama T could handle it??? Don't know if I could handle the flowering time any other time of year...

Why do Aussies look elsewhere for their sativas. If that was any other thing it'd be un-Australian, at very least its disrespectful, lol. Man I'm only joking.... You know Australia has two best categorised sativas.. The best. Pity we can't grow them inside, plus not too many buy, hay space seed weed unless they know what they buying ( Cape tribulation sativa aka bush weed) Mullumbimby madness ( aka bush weed)..

Beautiful junior buds on those girls SantB. Soon they will start getting fat. Wait until you have to stake those buds to prevent them from falling over. Good times.

Yeah, Grizz I do think the same.. Yantra (coincidence!) I noticed have a few Aus sativas, including the Mullumbimby... My memories of local 'bushweed', though, are that it was stick to stick what you might end up with... Seedy, stemmy crap, or nice full (thin) brown buds..
I read that pretty much all our 'local' weed is probably form Asia, probably the same species or whatever (genotype?) as the Thai strains..
Tell me if I'm wrong.. I'm sure guys were breeding here way before I showed up but I didn't think there were any native MJ here..
Have read about a few Aussie strains, including one I recall as being a perennial.. There's a mother plant for ya! Whether it's any good is another story..

Cheers, Blaze! That would be a nice problem to have.... I'm holding you to that 320gram call; it's in my head now, so if I have to add a few more stakes, so be it!

Shig! I might even be able to participate; I get a head start too! I've been seeing your posters for this all over 420 today.. Hope to join you!

I'd say the main one would be png, seeing as though there would have been trade with them and the islands.. Not sure on Mullumbimby, couple diff stories.. One is they are old old, other is that Neville planted them, part of his breeding.. Don't know...or that might be another strain, stories get muddled up a bit..

Png. That makes sense, much closer..

I still stand by my guesstimate of 320g. Prove me right!

I am hoping to, Blaze. Hell; as I said before, even half that will still be 5/6 Ozs and I'll take that too... Still hard to picture 300+ grams..
I'd be Scrooge McDuck, swimming in my vault of buds....

Doing a bit more research after this... And found Australian Blue, which is Blue Haze X Australian "Duck".. Anyone grown this? I had heard of it but never saw it, or don't remember seeing it.. "Ducks Feet" leaves, the blades all joined together; looks cool, and supposed to be good smoke, too..

Just found an old journal here on 420mag..
The perfect stealth plant - Wally Duck's "Ducksfoot"
Wally Duck, apparently, is the Aussie breeder responsible; very viable plant in it's own right. Mixed with the blue haze, make Australian Blue, and some of the photos of this.. Gonna give it a try one day, if I can...

I've heard of ducksfoot, not sure where from though.. Sounds good.. Is it stable, not likely to hermi?
