Fly's Intoxication Experimentation: Growing In The Smoking Room Or Smoking In The Growing Room?

Moldy or not it's so weird to hear people talk about getting "that brand" of weed! It's a new age up there. Nicely done Canada. May not be the perfect set of laws yet, but still...:thumb:.
Be wary of anything politicians do Shed, in this country or any other. Even when it seems like they are doing the right thing, they are doing things for other reasons, reasons that either give them more control or it profits them greatly. They work on a different playing field than most folks. Nothing gets passed anywhere that doesn't have a hidden deal or 10 that we will never hear about. I trust politicians less than lawyers and thieves.

Well, they're still more trustworthy than preachers.

Well guys, it is going to be a profitable industry for sure. Lots of income for the gov't. As well as a lot less money wasted in court. But you know, Trudeau is just not old-school right wing. He's young and smart enough to realize the ban on weed was simply outdated. At least that's my own personal opinion.

And just as a sidenote, I doubt if this applies to many of you, but don't wipe your nose if you have formaldehyde on your finger. I knew it all along, but sometimes I do things without thinking...

LOL but I bet if you tracked his bank accounts after he leaves office, the amount in it won't match up to his investment and his salary. Hmmm....wonder where all that extra money came from. Couldn't be from any of the special interest groups that will gladly line your pocket with boat loads of cash if ya just write the laws to be a little more favorable to them. Bet that had nothing at all to do with why the laws got changed.

Its always amazing to me that the IRS never finds its way to audit politicians until they flat out get caught and the machine can't cover it up. I mean where else can you go into office with net worth's in the hundreds of thousands and come out of employment for 4, 8, or 12 years of office and suddenly your bank account has 100 times more than it did when you entered.

But you mess around and let any of our net worths and bank accounts get that high, man we are on their radars in a heart beat.

And before anyone comments, I know Fly is canadian and doesn't have to deal with the IRS....I was simply ranting.

Van, Van, Van, my son, You don't follow Canadian news. Canadian politicians do more than their share of misappropriation too. Either last year or the year before, John Crosbie, from down this end of Canada, got his arse nailed to the wall for it. But I just don't let that crap bother me; I got real problems of my own. And then there's Rob Ford, mayor of Toronto and world-renowned crackhead...

All I know is that I can go to the store fora few grams. If it took political greed and industrial "donations" to get to this wonderful point, hey, I'm more than ok with that. What can I say?

We have Canada revenue agency. Same shit different pile.

Trudeau party saw a voting block that was not voting and could help him swing an election. While I am happy weed is legal I can't help but think we were not better off with just the decriminalization. (Street weed has bettee pricing) The only really good part is that we can grow at home IMHO. Then there is all my friends in bc who likely voted for him and now they are saying don't buy government weed support your local dealer. Like wtf.

Anyway I too like legalization which would not have happened without the liberal party. I still don't trust any politician especially not one carrying the name Trudeau. AB for life.

Chloroform neither.
Chloroform either (ether haha), but that's something we don't use up there. Just as well, I figure. Although another time I went for a piss with caustic soda on my hands. Another very unpleasant experience, I must say.

Yeah, black market definitely costs less, much less. A q.o. of that costs me $25. But the convenience of the store makes it worth it. Look at all my wake-and-bakes... I gotta meet my person 6:30 in the morning before work. And the worry of being caught getting it in public and stuff. That's why the wake-and-bakes. Not that it's a bad thing, but I'm a lot more comfortable getting it in the store than a parking lot. I'm not from here and I know very few people that deal in it, and I know even fewer people still who deal in it fairly.

So, you know, a person can say what they want about it, how it's done due to politico-industrial palm-greasing, it takes away from the illegal dealers, whatever, I think personally it's a big step forward on the world scene.

I agree. Gotta remember though is some places like the okanagan valley 1 in 3 home was a grow home. Hard to shut down that black market in bc. Weed was so available you would have a harder time not finding it. Lol.

Yeah, BC is kind of an outlier on the upper end of the bell curve of weed production. Wouldn't really know what to say about that. But BM weed is still pretty rampant here in New Brunswick, and I see no end to it myself. There's still the International drug trade; that shouldn't be affected.

When I run out of pH Down I'll try some and see what it does. Unless you already have the science on the pH effects of water, CO2, and sugar of course.
If you use caustic you'll need even more pH Down. I'll have to do a pH test using some 7 Up, caustic and sulphuric acid tomorrow.
