Flowerfarmer's 501st OG In DBHBB Soil

This true Chz. Those old moms are packed full of roots. One of the reasons I flower clones is that I don't necessarily have to top the seedling hopefuls and may see sex earlier. Also when I have a good idea of their merit I clone the crap out of the mom during the time the first clones are flowering. That way I can be ready to keep the best ones and have plenty of them to grow.

But you are right. I like having the moms around to flower. I don't really keep moms so they get flowered or culled. After the first heavy cloning from the mom I start training her for flower.

I've been giving full strength transplant tea drenches since the start of pistol formation. I gave strong growth energy drenches through a veg of 6 weeks with tea 1/4 transplant watering in between. The results through the first half of flower have been very pleasing!

Once pistils set, are you using only Transplant/Tea drench and Cat drench, for the rest of your grows? No GE?
 
I used growth late in veg. But I was trying for funky buds on the OG's. I think the over all health suffered. I'm back to Doc's recommendations. :)

I used transplant when I transplant the next watering then growth energy and then I water only till cat drinch time then water only then light transplant drench then I I finish on growth. This keeps things healthier during late bloom I'm finding. Also to foilair sprays ,for me, aren't sprayed much with a few weeks left in flowering as it seems to burn the leaves much easier.

You're mixing it up, trying out new chords and cool riffs....exactly what you should do. I'm really liking organic blood meal and epsoms on the OG's. Finally, that distinctive flavor is coming through, although a bit different in High Brix...but in a very, very good way.
 
I bought some bloodmeal and have been incorporating it in by top dressing OG types just after transplant and water it in next watering. I have harvested one clone of 501st done your way & with bloodmeal top dressing and it came out better than the mom before.:thanks: Doc Bud!

Is the sheen on the foliage neem oil or is that just part of the photosynthesis ?

Doc's original instructions for the Kit are :thumb:. What i do that most don't , is to give drinks of PLAIN WATER between Drenches and don't always feel the need to give them something , when they are fine without . Cheers FF. Take a look at my KK this round....they've gotten only ONE drink with anything in it and that was a GE Drench a couple days ago. They just don't need anything when they are small and have alot of soil to draw from.:Namaste:
 
Did you have to glue each sugar crystal to the plastic leaves one at a time?
