I enjoy watching the other high brix grows and having some DBHBB :420: brothers and non DBHBB :420: brothers take an interest in what I'm doing is great! You make my day when you just drop a like. I'm a bit of an introvert so I don't post half of what I type.:blushsmile:

Ok I'll pull out Longs Peak Blue(so far it has a sour wildberry smell with a slight menthol undertone) and the other 501st OG and do an update on those next.

Hey folks, I hope everyone has been well! I really wish I could be here more..:circle-of-love:

Day 64 of flowering I had another hiccup with a light interruption:oops: from plugging in a UVB light I have been playing with for my Columbian seedling I'm starting on 12/12 from seed. I am changing the timer! Its to easily manipulated. My golden tiger sprouted but never opened and rotted. So just one 100% Sativa now.

I'm only a few days from harvest. Should I do it tomorrow, let them go another few days and watch closely? I have plants that will be ready to replace them so that isn't an issue but I'd rather them be a little bigger and the pots dry before transplant and flower.

I know I worked these OG's too hard but the sample buds are smooth and burn white when quick dried.

I burnt the leaves with a little too much Brix this late in flower and gave an OG drench last when I should have stuck with the transplant this late, I'm going for funk. lesson learned! Haha I'm really happy with the smells so.. I'll give some some smoke reports when it's ready.

Holy F@&$! Just the thing I needed to see this morning to get me jazzed up for the day. Keep on keeping on because I really like what I see here. I do love my Indicas so I can see 501st in my future. It's time for me to feel the power of the dark side. Bravo FF. Made my morning! +reps

As to when to harvest - no way to tell w/o a loop or other magnification. My rule of thumb: When in doubt, wait it out.

Agreed. In fact, I'd almost say it would be good to have a particular plant go well beyond the window just to see what it does when given, say, 2 weeks more. Seeing a plant pass maturity and then pass maximum ripeness can be an eye-opening experience.

one can partially harvest and let the rest mature on the plant too :)
 
Thanks for the encouragement Shiggity, Major, Gov, Ziggy and gang! The girls didn't miss a beat. I'm finding a seed every tenth bud from my Bubblgummer and have located a couple very mature seeds popping out of a bud on LPB, Rugburn, and 501st that is S1 501st OG. The small hermie on a 501st #1 from extreme photoperiod stress early on in flower has made a few fem seeds and I've not seen a hint of a nanner since.:)

I'm letting them go as long as they can. Leeroy will go the longest and already has an awesome kush cologne fragrance that is so special. The LPB is turning more to a berry muffin smell. The 501st are similar to a sweet & spicey chocolate kush with an overtone of spice. The Bubblegummer is danky tart candy smelling with a lingering thick sweetness after the exhale. I'm happy!
