Yeah, the skeeters aren't too bad here. Haven't had to deal with the love bugs either. I sure do miss keeping my two Red snappers the 10 days it's open. Might try to come down around Christmas to visit family and go fishing with friends. I'm tired of trout fishing, my 6 year old son even says it's boring after the first few. He is like me and wants to feel the tug of a redfish, or the dig of a nice red or gag grouper. Hell, I'd settle for a ladyfish or blue on 8 lb tackle. Trout just get boring after a while, even on 4lb tackle.
