Flashmp3's Green Crack x Blue Dream Rockwool Revenge

Why not just go 12/12 and let it bud normal and let it finish?
I'd be worried about it possibly revegging on me at 13/11

Honestly guys from my understanding, in nature when a flowering plant is stressed it will finish faster.I think that's part of why we are told to avoid stress during flowering (along with risks of hermie etc...). I definitely think that if I had been on 12/12 the plant would have mature quicker without having a chance to get much size and weight. Don't forget they ve been 8 weeks in flowering! I m glad they are sill pushing pistils instead of ripening pop corn stuffs :D

If at the end it took 12 or 13 weeks to have same result as 8 weeks without trouble, I m sold! It s like they are forgiving me for the mistakes and like it just delayed things which is great otherwise they would have ripened earlier. It s like under 13 Hours the plants isnt stressed by winter coming and keep developing like if it was still long days early in flowering in nature

Hope it makes sense

That's possible, I'd still be nervous. I'll just watch yours for now.

As they are mostly Sativa strains they are used to flower under 13 hours of light in some country outdoor so they should be fine. I didn't post pics yet but blue dream kept stretching! I can't do anything now except bending but the taller branches are weak so they may break later and for now hide other bud sites if I supercrop them. I ll monitor this daily and figure if I bend or not those high tops

I supercropped my Malawi several times to keep her out of the lights. :hmmmm:
I had already supercrop my last blue dream on last grow. But I had more space. With that crowed grow space right now, bending a branch means hiding another one unfortunately

If you put them on 12/12 and let them finish you wouldn't have those problems. Let them finish and move on.

I understand your point but don't forget I had three major troubles :

- Bad ph because of defective pH pen which slowed down the crucial first two weeks of flowering

- 1 week out of home with temps around 95F during week 4

- plants flooded because of defective wifi outlet last week

All those bad events slowed things down. I don't think the 13/11 schedule has done anything bad except giving them more time to recover

I guess I don't have the patience you have. I need so much product and if things don't look like they'll pan out I'll start some more and more on.

I do understand that. I m like you. If I had more space I would have started other strains and would have let those do their life. But I can't. I have given lots of efforts in this grow and need to do my best till the end as I can't wait 3 months anymore hoping the next grow will be a success. So loosing one month is more than ok for me. Plus I come from soil. I vegged only 4 weeks and have plants bigger than my 3 months vegged plants in soil last grow! So things have been happening so fast for me in that grow . So it helps me relax :)

Relaxing is good. I'm not a soil guy and think if I were to give it a try I would go with doc's kit or something like that. I can grow crazy garden vegetables outside but don't have the confidence to run it in the dungeon.

You are one of the guys that introduced me to coco! Now I m using coco for all my plants! I just love it! Thank you again!

Coco is just easy and forgiving. You can change things in a day not days like in soil.

I love it! Things happen so fast in coco!

He’s saying you got it under control now. Looking good! Speaking of next grow....what are your plans? Got some gals lined up

Thank you to pass by here friend! He grew at the same time and both blue dream so I feel kinda linked with you. I plan to put my outdoor blue dream inside when the other one finish. I think weather will be too cold outside next month and she may not like it. Plus it looks like she s taking her time to start truly flowering (only few pistils). So with luck I ll be able to put her inside at the right time (harvest of indoor grow / early to mid true flowering). So all of this should take at least 2 months from now. Next grow is unsure. I love green crack and blue dream and if they have great taste and effects in that grow, I may want to grow them again. So next grow maybe 4 plants of 2 new strains along with GC and BD. Don't know yet. Any advice? I wish there were daily cookie strain. Or I wish Dutch passion Think big could existed in a cross version with a tasty strain

I definitely feel connected to your grow as well. Always look forward to your updates. I wouldn’t know what to suggest for a next grow. There’s so much I want to try. Lol. I can’t seem to stop buying seeds. Lol. If you like Sativa dominant hybrids maybe something like a sour diesel or trainwreck or a cross with one of those. I’d like to try super silver haze at some point and I believe it’s in the gene pool of blue dream. I’d also like to try a kali mist someday. Or Tutankhamen. Lol. I gotta stop. My wishlist at Seedsman has 55 strains in it. Haha. Speaking of Seedsman...if you wanted to stick to Humboldt Seeds, I think they are giving away Blue Dream seeds with purchase.
