Flash Does Dinachem x Blue Gelato 41 x Green Crack: Full Coco

But I can always cut if things grow too tall? Would you flip right now?
Pardon me, but I wouldn't. I think strong growth occurs with a stout base. I am starting to have the impression that more veg time is much more beneficial to the end result. You've navigated through a lot of wasted new growth energy, but you sacrifice a little more time. I guess it's obvious when you compare an auto with a regular seed... Sorry, I'm just rambling through my own thoughts.

"Cut"? You cant trim your plant to reduce height in flower. You remember what a handful you had last time? Maybe flipping now is a good idea. Lets look at what you have to work with... limited space, tall plants, a SCRoG thats basically a week away from being full. You are also growing mutiple strains in the same space again, which has its own risk.

Go for quality, not quantity. Dont worry about the size of your Kolas. Grow the best plant you can with what you have to work with and you will be rewarded. If you want to grow big plants use an area that will allow it.

I like to grow larger plants.

In my mind its the only way to get quantity AND quality. Maybe next time we can work on larger plants. This time it looks like youre maxed out

Haha it's fine but I didn't understand your final thoughts? I was thinking of filling the screen before Flipping to hope long enough colas. But at the mean time stretch can be a bi***

Dont worry about long kolas. Just grow the best plant you can with what you have. Your space seems to be the driver. Grow to your space, which may mean your veg time is shorter

I love those pictures! Fan!

Ok so I'll flip tonight and avoid unnecessary risks

Oh thank you.

I think you are on the right track. If there is any way you can come up with a larger space, lets grow some big ass plants in it. One plant is often much better off than a couple crowded ones. The two in the picture did 27ounces. My 5 King Tut weighed more, but not by much

I just meant that autos will flower when they are ready, thus they are typically smaller plants.
Stalling the flowering time with regular plants gives me better and bigger buds. Larger stems carry more nutes and water than smaller ones. It gives me more time to remove the fruitless growth and focus more plant energy on the selected buds.
I'm sure I haven't said anything that isn't already known...

Yes but meanful things are worth repeating! Thanks for sharing. So on your side you think more of giving them more veg time?

From what I ve seen it's true that one single plant would give probably better quality at least. I like multiple plants cause it makes it faster and if you loose one you have others. Last run I had pretty good yield regarding all the troubles I went through so this time I just want to maximize things. I know there is a sweat spot between quality and quantity. I m looking for that.

Im with you on that. Its definately safer to run multiple plants if youre afraid of loosing one, but multiple strains can cause other problems. You remember that little plant i had last season that i was constantly bashing due to its size? If that plant was in with my King Tuts it wouldnt have ended well at all. It had its own room and light, so it acgually turned out pretty good

Just a quick explaination of what i mean regarding differing strains. If you know they grow alike its no big deal.

Do you remember this plant was my favorite one? Haha I knew she would finish like that. I m happy for you. You re right they grow best when they re not fighting for space. But my last run proved even with trouble I ended with good results so without I m confident it can give good results as well. I m Flipping tonight ☺️

Yeah, i knew you were gonna say that haha. We had fun with it. I feel given the history of your grow area you are making the right desicion. Glad to be able to watch this event.

Last run 4 weeks of veg (+4 days to sprout) before flip :

Goal is to avoid that!

Looking like monsters but a little concerned about how tight everything is again...Sometimes it's just hard to tell from angles of pictures but do all those colas have good room around them to fatten up and allow good airflow?

Hey friend nice to see you here!

I m not sure to understand what you mean. Which pictures are you referring to? My previous post was intended to show how things became unmanageable last time because of too much strech. Maybe I should have been more precise. Goal is to avoid that lool but still being able to use all of the grow space the best I can

Besides it looks like universe helped me on my decision to flip. Since yesterday night there is a power failure in my building. No lights since 4pm yesterday . So my plants are flipped lool

I find one of my plant a light green :

Another one shows some kind of nut burn but weird regarding the light green leaves aspect :
