First Timer, Any Suggestions?

Week 15, Everything look pretty good. I think the Strawberry Cough, Papaya and the Bubble gum will be ready in a couple of weeks or so. They are starting to show a little amber. I am new so its a guess on the time frame but I started to flush with fresh water and I will keep my fingers crossed. The Papaya 2 is growing really fast. We have had temps in the upper 90's to the lower 100s. I hope it won't effect the plants too much. They do get full exposer to the sun from sun up to sun down. There really is not any shade to protect them from the heat. Anyway take a look.

Also I put some pictures of the harvest from the Full Moon. They have been dried (hopefully not too much) and are in jars for curing. I figure a month or so we will see..

HazeSeeker, siscokid, CharlieMopps and resinator thanks for stopping in and taking a look and the comments and the reps are always appreciated...

Sonzor, amazing grow, you shold be proud, +reps if i can

weedtastic and UntamedFox thanks for stopping in and all of you comments. Still a little work to do but getting closer every day. Thanks again..

Very nice!!! Mouth's watering over here

Thanks for the comments and stopping in... Mine too. have not tried them yet. Waiting for them to finish curing. I was hoping to wait for all the others to finish and have a little bud tasting. Not sure I can do it. We will see how my will power is...

Sonzor thanks for stopping by my grow, my ladies are growing strong and im happy.
I am really intrigued by your Fog Grow, I wonder if you can get enough oxygen, nutes and all with the fogger, thats my first idea, stop pumping the water to the plants via the pump into the mist nozzles, the Fog is so heavy it may be enough to get nutes and what not to the plants, im sure the misters are there so you make sure they get the concentrated nute amount that they need, but wouldn't the misters just heat up the roots possible slowing growth? Where as the Fog probably loses temp as it travels in the air. I could be wrong here but thats my assumption.

My second idea was to just separate the tank into two reservoirs, with some silicone you could glue a cut to fit plastic piece, so you'll have the fogger in one reservoir with the hot water, which foggs the plants, giving them a sensual warm tingly feeling, awakening them from their slumber, perking their root tips, tantalizing them to grow.(would they try to grow into the mist nozzles?)
Then you would have the other reservoir with cooler water and nutes, giving them the food they need at a slightly lower temperature fullfilling the pleasure cravings the plant has desperately been hoping for, thanks to the fogging water, and All IN THE SAME TANK!!
And of course make sure the water runs into the colder reservoir.

Sonzor you are a brilliant man!!!! I must give this a try this winter since I am in the Northern Hem and where I'm at it gets cold, like -20's for 3.5 months. UGH!!!! Gotta love the weather changes, You can feel the Eco, almost become it man!

I can't wait to see what you do/try and what does/doesn't work!!!! I'm Subscribed Yeaheee Yeaheee!!!!
++ REPS from me for sure!!!! After I give some to others first I guess LOL

ok enough rambling on and on LOL :nicethread::thankyou::grinjoint::popcorn::peace:

A third Idea was to use your Res cooler as a cool water reservoir all by itself, put the pump in there with cooler water to go through the misters. and run the water run off into the jerry rig cooler itself. I think 2 reservoirs anyhow you do it will answer your problems. may see a speed up in roots develop, they love food at the right PH and Temp. from what I've read 75-80F degrees.

(short and done)

I typed "(would they try to grow into the mist nozzles?)"

So I'm proofreading my posts that I wrote this morning and another idea sparked into my head, what about (gently) routing the roots into pipes that the fog is directed into, just an idea that way they are in complete darkness and the fogger can give them the nutes and water via humidity through the piping.
And if it would work im sure you need some pipes wide enough for the roots to not get entangled. you would need multiple pipes that the fog is coming out of. from top view it would look like the Olympics Symbol with the different color rings kinda.
Anyhow keep sparking new ideas YO!!!! LOL

Again - :nicethread::thankyou::rollit::bong::grinjoint::popcorn::peace:

Thanks so much for stopping in and all your great ideas. I will think about them for sure. In kind of a hurry so I just skimmed over them. I read a little more carefully and little later and see what I can come up with. Thanks again..

I was also amazed how much bud comes off of one little plant. I am going to have to do some donations to the poor, what am I talking about a lot of donations.. Thanks for stopping in and you comments that are much appreciated..

+REPs!

Cured weight is generally accepted to be around ¼ of the fresh-cut weight altough it varies somewhat.

Mostly the temp of the res. The fogger heats up that water to over 100 degrees. I was using ice in the grow box, but no joke it melt in a half hour. The fogger really gets hot. So I made a cooler for the res. It pumps water from the res. though a cooler filled with Ice. It has help a lot but you still have to keep on top of it.

Maybe you could hunt down a heater-core or small radiator (new or cleaned/boiled very well), stick a fan on it, and box it in. That should pull a lot of heat out of the liquid, although it's not going to hit ambient temperature.

Or duct air from a handy air conditioner over such a heat-exchanger.

Or run tubing all along the "cold side" tubing on an air conditioner, dehumidifyer, or refrigerator.

Good luck on that lol.

Remember to burp the jars as needed.

Thanks for the info. But all that info is way beyond me and my know how..

Good luck on that lol.

Burp them twice a day.

Thanks again. Very much appreciated..

Week 16 and its decision time. The Super Lemon Haze is still in veg. and is growing pretty well as well as the Papaya2. The Papaya1 and the Bubble Gum look like they are just about ready, maybe a week or two. My question is. The last week or so the temps have been over the 100 degree mark. The plants seem to be doing ok but they are definitely being effected by the heat. Should I pull them now? The Strawberry cough is a little further out from being done so I don't think pulling it is a option. Its going to be this hot for a least another week maybe more. Anyway any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated.
