First time growing - Need some advice please!

Re: First time Growing -- Need some advice please !!

Thanks. She's very easy to grow, looking to get more of a challenging strain once these are finished up.. love to smoke but hate the hassle of buying off the streets. Maybe in the next few months I'll become self reliant. Wow. I'm so jealous. I wish I could get my hands on those 2. If my "man" was correct with his product, that green crack is one of the best I've smoked.. I've been smoking heavily for 15 yrs, lil break while in military for 3 years but other than that I smoke atleast 1/4 of good bud a week.

Maybe i missed it, but if your soil has any nutrients in it, that should last a bit. I've had my babies in soil with nutrients in them for 3 weeks & have yet to give them anything besides water. They seem to be happy.
Also, I didn't see what your lighting & grow area looks like... I'm a newbie too & it looks as though the more experienced guys always ask these questions when diagnosing issues. It also helps me learn to not mistakes others have made with this info.
Good luck! Lots of green thoughts to you!

Also, the best advice i read here is to never compare your grows to others' because there are so many factors that make everyone's grow different. As long as they are healthy & happy you will be rewarded.

Okay so just checked on my girls and one of them has a spot on leaf :( I'm so upset and one of them leaf curling is this because I was over watering ? And will it get better if I lay off for a few days ?

We got some cheap organic soil and mixed it with happy frog soil and they are in a 4x4x80 tent with. 1000 watt LED light in them have a small fan going as well humidity is 50 percent and temp is 77

I have a little mutant too and I've seen mutant plants on here grow into amazing ones so I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep her happy & I think she will love you back. Sorry I don't have any advice, I don't know enough.

I just read about the spot you're worried about... it could just be some water got on it...i honestly can't even see it with the lighting Don't worry too much if it's only a leaf or two as long as it doesn't get worse. Your girls will feel your worry, so just keep giving good vibes.
I had read someone say that when you feel like you need to water, wait another day. That's what I've been doing & my girls are happy

Re: First time Growing -- Need some advice please !!

I would slow down on the :surf: watering for 3 or 4 days, maybe even more depending on the size of that pot and how much moisture it holds. Before the soil is invaded by roots it stays wet forever my man. You should let it dry out some. When you see dirt is dry at least an inch or two from the surface then I would start feeding her half the recommended amount of Fox Farm Nutrients. Then when you see her pick up the pace. Feed her the full recommended amount. Its hard to watch that dirt dry up, but you have to let the roots breath brother. :high-five:
I hope this helps.
Good luck and keep me posted my friend.

"Its hard to watch that dirt dry up, but you have to let the roots breath brother."
so true, so so true.
