Hi everyone, this is my first grow. I’m in Ireland and have my tent set up in my shed! To me the plants are looking like two healthy beasts . Can anyone tell me if I am right in saying this? Thanks

Any information at all would be helpful, I have all nutrients needed just not quite sure of the light cycle now to get it to start budding. I have been doing 18 hours light and 6 hours dark but Just seen here to put in full darkness for 24 hours and then 12/12. It will be in there 7th week this week . Thanks

Hi @Smokeypep14 !

To just judge from a quick glance I dont see anything a miss. If You've got the space, so maybe do some LST to improve yeild.

As far as anything else, you'll need to supply more information.

Click on the link in my signature "how to ask for grow support " there are sections you can copy paste with just fill in the blanks.

For photoperiod flowers read here:

Autoflower is based upon age and isn't supposed to require a change in lighting.

Thanks rexer! The tall plant at the back is the banana and the front one is gelato, both seeds are from Zamnesia seeds. As I said it’s in my shed in outdoors in Ireland . The weather has been really nice the past two months but now it’s starting to get cold and the tent is getting condensation on the sides. I literally just have the light in the tent. No fans or heaters.
Grateful for the info as I don’t really know much. Just watched a few videos on YouTube of the top shelf grower.

much love,
Smokeypep

You need to get an extraction fan and run it 24/7 to get rid of the condensation...with a passive vent on bottom of tent open :thumb:

Thanks man, I actually have an extraction fan and a carbon filter but I have no idea what they are used for in the tent so I didn’t bother setting them up. I have turned my light off for 24 hours as I seen this is good to kick start them into budding, would you agree with this? Thanks for the info

The carbon filter hangs at the top of your tent inside, connect a flex duct to that and run it through your tent to the outside, to where ever you have your extraction fan and make sure it's sucking the air out, instead of pushing it in :thumb:

You said you like using you tube? Try looking up Everest Fernandez video on ventilation setup.

There is a fabric cover that goes onto the filter, dont forget to use it. What size fan did you get?

Use this 24hrs to plan out how your going to set it up.

Also take a peek through some of the threads here; theres answers to questions that a new grower hasn't thought of yet....I'm on my first grow and enjoy reading the threads in there.

I have these here and I always thought they join together, no wonder I never used it. Hahaha. So my carbon filter, do I literally just hang that over up above the light and run it out to where I’m going to put the extraction fan? Appreciate the advice

Been flicking through those threads the past hour. It’s class the knowledge on this forum. The fan I got is a 25 W. Really excited for the next two weeks, hopefully get to see some buds develop

Nice set up man! I’m gonna get this done tomorrow and I’ll come back with pictures and hopefully the condensation is gone! Thanks again. Smokeypep
Thanks @Smokeypep14 :passitleft:...and you'll have to get the draft right, too much extraction will suck your tent inward, need to find a happy medium, or you may do what I did :rofl: yeah I popped the stitching on my seems and created a light leak...so I scrapped it and used it on my veg closet, it made a nice zipper door:rofl:

Was setting up the Carbon filter and extraction fan so I had to remove them from the tent for a few mins so put them in my shed nice and safely, went back 5 mins later and everything on the shelves in shed had fallen on the two plants!! Branches snapped, absolutely heart broken. The banana has only lost about 30% i am still hopeful it will produce nice buds . But the gelato took a big hit and lost around half the plant! All a learning curve I most definitely won’t let it happen again but that doesn’t help the sadness :(

but does the carbon filter look ok the way I have it or is it too close to the light?

thanks,
Smokeypep

Thanks, devastated wouldn’t be the word! I just took a few more pics. Going to give it a nice feed now with a good dosage of calcium and magnesium and hopefully it won’t die altogether on me. The branches that had bent down I just clipped them upwards with ties. But some branches were sadly completely snapped off.
