First Time Grow & First Journal: 3 Unknown Same Strain LED Grow

Plant one is a female. She was already showing some signs of sex prior to the flip. My cellphone can't pick up a clear enough picture but you can already see some white hairs starting to pop out from the calyx. 2 and 3 not sure of yet.
 
This is the best photo I can get. I'll be buying a jeweler thing so I can check on buds in time. But anyways....you can see the hair just starting to emerge from the calyx.

So I'm trying to find some info on the flowering stages. And it seems all the info is different. Any suggestions on what I can read to learn what to expect and time lapse. Basically the entire flowering stage

That’s usually the difference between indica (short thick), vs. sativa (long skinny).

I'm also losing a closet I veg in because I kinda took them all so I'll be looking to either buy a tent or build one. I have tons of scrap wood laying around but I may not have the time. What size is best for around 4-6 plants. I'll probably only keep 4 in thoug h

I suggest having clonex (or something) handy as well as rock wool/peat plugs for when you start your LST. You’ll break a branch. We all do. At least if you’re ready to repurpose it, it won’t be either a shock or a bummer!

I tried taking one clone about a week ago. Still no signs of it rooting. I wanted to take another and try it again but I have no idea where to take it from.

Just be patient with the clones. It’ll be a few weeks. :yummy: I’m learning about them too. One thing I found out you have to let the root buds seek h2o or they won’t grow and that means don’t water them. Spritz the soil/media they’re in so they don’t dry out but apart from that mate strap in and wait :) hope that helps.

From what I gather the area you have circled are where the "preflower" signs of gender take place and there will only be two pistols there. But the area shown to you is where the actual flowers will start to form, and where you will get the cluster that forms the buds.

Just giving a quick update. She is still packing on about an inch each day at minimum. I'm raising my light every morning to adjust accordingly. She's really starting to show sex all over and the calyx are all slowly opening to reveal those precious little hairs. ( THIS IS SO AWESOME AS THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCING THIS ) Still no sure signs of sex on plant 2 and 3 yet but it's only been a couple days since I flipped over to 12-12. But I'll keep checking every day to make sure. If and only if I get 2 females and one male from all 3 I may look into breeding a pair in a different part of my house. We're see when that day comes.

2 sq. ft. for each plant is a good rule of thumb. Mine is a 4x8x8, 4x6 SCROG, with about a foot gap at each end. If that gives you a good reference.
