First Time Grow & First Journal: 3 Unknown Same Strain LED Grow

in the picture the 2 bigger ones are same plant different view. I'm going to upload a picture every week from today of the 3 so growth can be seen better. Unless I am trouble shooting one of them. All of them to me look really happy...but I'm not the expert. What is a suggested feeding for them? I feed once a week right now. I'm upping the dose of miracle grow to feed on the plant 1 . ( largest one ) also starting a new way to water them as I've done a little reading and I'm going to water in the edges slowly. Plant one is starting to smell as well.

@Alafornia I've read your thread about watering correctly. I must say I've been watering wrong the entire time. While I watered every 3 days usually ( and mist every other day ) I always went right to center and never outsides.

Woohoo! on the WW's getting there soon.

I have to give credit to @Emilya on the watering thread. That's her baby and she should be proud that it/she is still making such a positive difference for (especially new) growers like us.

On the topping, are you pretty comfortable with that or do you want to post a pic of the plant(s) and ask for advice?

@Emilya her thread helped me 1000% as I was 110% doing it all wrong and it is people like that that help us learn EVERYTHING we need to know. My widows show a delivery date of Thursday so it took a week from order date. And I ordered July 4th. So they'll be here before my thermometer and new lights. Everything is falling into place. I'm gonna move the 3 I have under the new lights and keep the grow box im using now to start the WW. It's not much in there but the babies seem to love it. I actually brought out plant 1 and topped it today. I left about an inch about the previous set of leaves. I'll post pictures later today of it. About 2 hours and it's not showing any visible signs that it did hurt the plant.

Since I'm basically using this grow for the experience...i think I'm gonna top one , leave plant 2 grow naturally and top and practice LSTon plant 3. I've been reading and watching hours and hours of videos on them. While I don't feel that comfortable I know I won't learn it unless I do it myself. Plus if all else fails I got all you guys and gals to get me on the right track.

Hey there. Nice looking start you’ve made. Just wondered on your topping - are you cloning those?

I suggest having clonex (or something) handy as well as rock wool/peat plugs for when you start your LST. You’ll break a branch. We all do. At least if you’re ready to repurpose it, it won’t be either a shock or a bummer!
Nice work. Keep it up.

Just curious... Is LST for keeping the plant small? I have a big grow space well enough for 4-6 nicely. I don't wanna do it unless it's for larger yields.

You are going to love what you can help a plant to do. Follow the quadlining link in my signature and have a look at what people are doing.
You’ve already topped one, I see it has three good pairs of branches about to start. You’re already running this as a comparison, so for interest sake you could train out those six branches as they grow and you will have a canopy full of colas.
So long as you are growing photo period, not autoflowers, and you can spend an extra week in veg it can really add serious weight.
I’m almost at harvest on my first ever indoor grow. I have 3 plants in a 3’ by 3’ space, they are 3’ tall and touching every wall, with not just 3 but a whole bunch of tops.

Awesome. I'll definitely have to look it up. I've been trying to follow the experienced growers here to see what they do and the different styles. I was actually nervous to top this plant as I didn't want any negative affects but she seems to love it. All the leaves are praying. The sets of leaves you see are actually the lower fan leaves bending upwards in typical praying form. But since I have 3 going i think I'm going to try 3 different methods and see how it goes. This grow is just an experience grow for me as ill be starting the widows tomorrow.

Sadly though even though it's very early I believe plant 2 is a male as the leaves seems to be fatter and more rounder where the other 2 have thinner and longer leaves. I know this isn't a 110% way to sex but it says it'sa good way to tell***edited *** also I dont know the exact strain but all 3 are from the same plant.

It might be a more Indica-leaning phenotype? Only guessing IDK.
Might seem like too many plates to keep spinning at once to collect some pollen off a male for future use? It would’ve been for me a couple of months ago, but now I’m seeing new ways to get continuity going in the garden. Couple of spare thoughts there for you; you can have them I wasn’t using them
