First Time Auto, First Time DWC, Northern Lights

Recirculate
That's something I'd have to read up on, I haven't checked anything else out beyond single bucket dwc.

Tuesday night update.

Some of the pistils are turning brown already, there's some frost and you can smell these before you open the door to the room, and they are getting sticky. All of the stems are now hard and wooden, no more straw feel to them at all.
They are filling out, Ashburn more than Mullins, now because of the delay in their proper growth due to the bad lights I really don't know how long they will go, will they stay on the autoflowering schedule and be done quickly or go longer? I guess all I can do is keep an eye on the trichs, I'm wondering if they'd turn amber before these buds get to really bulk up?

On with the show.

Well these 2 are not going to make it, my first seedlings that didn't make it out of the pods.

Having those shells stuck to them really stunted and killed them, the lower one still looks alive but is almost 2 weeks old now.

Maybe give rapid rooter's a try next time I used them for the first time on the last round of seeds I sprouted they worked great they don't retain as much water as the peat pellets do. I have had issues trying to sprout seeds in the peat pellets.

To my surprise someone didn't want to get culled like it's twisted partner did! I woke up to this stretched little girl!

So tonight she was placed in a 3 gallon fabric pot and under a light, if she survives and becomes a mini auto than so be it.

We shall see how she fares!

Mullins res got topped up with a litre of water, ph swings down as expected in bloom, so keeping an eye on that, they are looking good.

On with the show!

Lookin very frosty over there! :lot-o-toke:
Thank you, and it's smelling great when I open the room! Better than coffee to awaken the senses!

Trichome update.

Looks like they are starting to go cloudy, some clear still remaining and a lot of new pistils, I'll check daily for a week and see how quickly they change.

On with the show.

Look at this little Northern Lights Auto zombie, she doesn't have a chance!

I'm surprised that she's alive and I just discovered that someone in my house must have been in there taking pictures and when they reset the grow lights they flipped on the bloom switch too, I didn't catch the difference in light intensity until just now.

Aww a little curly cue! Painful to watch grow sometimes, but I can't bring myself to choose the better over the not better. I've done a rotten job with all this amazing journal watching, judging on the trics up there this one of those I should have been enjoying better! CHeers mate, happy holidays to yous and yours! :yahoo:

Happy holidays to you and yours as well!

Another midnight update, I don't know why I wait until almost lights out to go feed the plants.

Ashburn.

I think I'm close to harvest time, a lot of cloudy so first sign of any amber and it's coming down. I didn't want a full res change so I topped it up 1 litre of water that she drank and upped the ppm from 895 to 1005, ph'd to 5.91.

Both are still pushing new pistils but they'll be chopped at the first amber trich, I'm not going to let it get to far at all.

On with the show!

Trichs and pistil update.
