First Journal With Multiple Strains

Hi carcass thanks for stopping by and having a input and yes I'm still trying to figure out how to put a link as I'm using my phone instead of a pc and to be honest I think I'm going to regret having 7 plants in there as it's getting a little crowded now and cannot defoliate for another 2 weeks so I may have to go put 1 of them outdoors and no I will not be doing a scrog this time but may next time round :thumb:

I'm growing in a 2',2' box right now,planned on 2 plants,but ended up with three(long story)
I forsee some serious space problems in there also.
I lst everything, which is going to help with the height, but ,with 4 sq ft,width is going to be the real problem-LST is great, but those things do get a bit wide...

I agree with you there that space is going to become a issue even with lots of lst. I think I may have topped too many times overall as most branches have two heads now lol but we will see in 2 weeks

I don't have a issue with height but I like to keep them small as I'm only using t 250w hps and was worried about growing tall plants as I weren't sure if the light would penetrate

Quick update: plants into 6th day of 12/12 and plants doing well, all fed with 4ml a and b and just left to do they're thing at the minute. I cannot wait for the stretch to finish as they could all do with a bit of a defol quite bad.

Quick update: into day 8 of 12/12 today and plants all looking good, all fed with 4ml a and b and still stretching nicely, I've pulled a few tops down that were a bit higher than the the rest so the canopy is still fairly even but other than that nothing to report so far so good as far as I'm concerned.

all filling out great tom. why wait to defol until stretch ends. she will make leaves up until about week 4 of actual flowering. Slowly removing tje fans that ar big and blocking light is a bonus. getting ligjt to every possible bud site is paramount to leaf growth anytime. The fans do jave a function for us indoors but are not nearly as important as when in their natural environment. There is no real competition for the limited sunlight as in nature and we make sure that they get max light to all parts possible for them , this makes the fans less important. After week 4 you can stoll tuck those leaves away if needed to.
With scrog , all those heads will pop up through and be huge colas , dont worry about over topping when your filling a whole scrog , you will be fine mate

@Ganjagrandaddy, thanks mate but I wasn't planning on doing a scrog but my plants have filled out perfectly for that so I was wondering how I would go about feeding them in a scrog net

as long as there is a gap between the net and pot you can use watering cans for hanging flowers. They are cheap enough and have a very long neck and helpful pour angle too. Have you considered supercropping to reduce height and spread them out. it ca get some great yields and doesnt add too much time on.

I was trying to stay away from supercropping for now until I learn a bit for thank you, so say I wss going to do a scrog I wouldn't feed to run off as I haven't got trays but would have to feed daily,

i see your dilemma now. Will be hard gauging your amount before run off starts too. Also can create salt build up in the medium as you wont be pushing older nutes out either with no runoff. This could bring you issues. Hate to say it but you NEED trays under them for a number of reasons imo. dont want to sound a dick but mean it will help you so much with their feeds and correct moisture levels too. Ph within the medium could go so out of sink without your knowledge until deficiency starts to show.

Yes that's what I was worried about so I think I will keep it as it is for this grow but I may try a scrog next time round after purchasing pots and trays etc. Thank you @Ganjagrandaddy

So after a couple days debating with myself to defoliate a little I went ahead and did this on day 9 of 12/12, I just hope I haven't stunted them too much during the last 7/10 days of stretch but they did need it tbh.
