First Indoor Journal

When I say sure top her to give you 6 main colas, that’s only if you want to. Your in complete control, and if you want to grow it out, nothing wrong with that!! I had a hard time topping my plants at first, so I let them grow out till about the 7th internode. Had a bigger harvest, but it took longer to get there lol

Topped last night, the girls went little limp from discomfort but today they’re back to loving the light. Impressive what these “weeds” can do.

They’re so much happier and healthier since backlipslide basically talked me into topping them lol.

The girls are much bushier, happier and all around great. Tomorrow they need watering and according to the craft cannabis kit I’ve been alternating between water and their fert alive feeding product.

I also constructed my 5x5 Monolith tent. First tent I ever built, shady instructions but super easy. Tomorrow I’m home from work and will install everything as need be, allowing me to clear out my makeshift bathroom grow.

That’s a nice looking tent!! :bong:

I agree, very nice tent. Cant wait till my grow space doesnt look like its in a third world country. (Nothing wrong with that or with 3rd world countrys... Cant please everyone tho)

Thank you, mine is a war zone too. The tent is nice but the jam packed room around it is life. Curious how bright it will get with all 6 lights in there for flower, should just be absolute over kill. no offends taken

These girls are surprising me left and right, they seem to explode in growth over night. I’m beyond impressed with the lights, the temperature in the bathroom is 24.5’c or roughly 63’f. And humidity is around 64%.

Popped more seeds, things are going good.

7 days of growth between the two pics compared. Impressed with the speed they’re growing.

@Herb Dean lol, when you put it like that .. who doesnt!

Question for the pro's, why would the top stems of the one plant be turning red? Is that genetics like purple hues or is that a problem i need to take care of?

they're about 28 days old, i used a weird shaped solo cup for size reference. i gave up on my PH pen for accuracy.. every time i re calibrate it the next time i turn it on shes all weird. but i did get my ph strips today.. so technically its the first time i have ever ph'd my water properly. roughly 6.0 and the kit suggests between 5.5-6.5.

i will be tying them down soon, i believe. is there any techniques or key points i should be aware of before tying the branches to the outside of the air pot?
Thank you,

Canadian.

why would the top stems of the one plant be turning red?
Since it is too early to be craving phosphorus, it appears to be a common photo protective effect that many plants can produce in order to reduce the photo response of that area by reflecting the red light away. It is my belief that because you recently topped, the plant is sensing that more light than it wanted is now hitting those exposed stems, and it is reducing the response to them so that the two new growth tips can take prominence. Is that plant per chance in more direct light than the others?

@Emilya you are a goddess, thank you!

I attached pictures of how it was set up previous and how I adjusted it.

@Herb Dean im glad my thread has helped someone else, as it’s helped me tremendously.

Sorry the phones are terrible lol

Well, kinda. The bigger plants havnt been moved because im waiting on a carbon filter and exhaust fan. But i do have my humidity dome operational in there with a few more. The bathroom holds at a steady 24.5-25 degrees while maintaining a 65-60 percent humidity even 55 if its close to watering. And 70 when theyre watered. so its perfect in my opinion for now until i can get the room operational.
