Hey, Turttle. I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I could use your advice. I went to a couple different hydro stores to see if I could find MaxSea. Nobody in my area seems to carry it. I'll order some eventually but, in the meantime I've got Fox Farm's "Grow Big" and "Big Bloom". Are these going to be sufficient? I don't know if Magnesium is an issue with these nutes, but my soil already has plenty of it from the dolomitic limestone I added. If I've flushed my pots multiple times, is my MG soil going to have any of its controlled release fertilizers left?
Those are some serious root pornstars you have there!
Good to hear the hygrozyme is doing well for you. I ended up using h2o2, so for the rest of my grow I'm sticking with it, as everything is going well.
Looking good!
Hey airavata thanks for the kind words. No not hijacking at all.The grow big is some pretty good stuff and should cover all the plants requirments I would recomend downloading the feeding chart from fox farm. With the big bloom I would recomend mixing it with the grow big as it has quanos and castings and it keeps roots healthy and keeps salt build up in check. For flower your going to need something with a little more kick.I would recomend the tiger bloom with open sesami or beastie blooms. The FF dry enhancers are pretty spendy but in any case you will need the tiger bloom.I would recomend a bud inhancer with the use of ff trio pack for bigger buds. But as for a healthy plant the trio should be good @ 1/4-1/2 streangth.I have been using only fox farm in my bubble bucket and followed the feeding schedule keeping my ppm around 500 and I have not had any deficiencys. With the maxsea I half to add some sort of mag.
PS I looked into the morocrop it says it only last up to six weeks.I am really iffy on it as I could not find much information with the ingredience off there sight. As for the scotts micacle grow potting soil I would recomend adding there scotts osmocote plus trf to the mix as it is a really light soil.
If using the FF I would use that with there ocean forest potting soil(or 50/50 with scotts mg) in a 5 gallon planter per plant.MJ roots really like to reach out the more rootspace the happyer she will be.I really like the FF because it its really simple to use and has the complete line of macro and micro along with benefits of sea weed quanos sea bird droppings and earthwarm castings.
