Last post before harvest. The two little girls are a little less ripe then I like. A few scattered Amber's and still se clear. The big girl could be chopped now but for ease I'm just treating them the same. I've always harvested with a good amount of amber because I like to feel it in my body more. Over all I'm pretty satisfied with the grow considering it was a hard learning curve!
Best skills learned this grow:
Hempy is the shit period! I love this grow style.
Don't prune or trim until the plant is a foot tall! I can't keep those scissors out of my hand!
PH must be considered in hydro. Hard lesson learned early in the grow.
Don't forget how important cal mag is! Big factor on overall health.
BIGGESTS LESSON KEEP A CLEAN GROW ENVIRONMENT! White powder mildew could have been avoided here. I live a disorganized lifestyle but I can't let that bleed into my tent.
So I made a huge mistake but not detrimental really... I cleaned up the tent and must have hit the timer switch. Last couple of days it's had 24hrs of light a day lol.
Anyway when I noticed I just decided to harvest. It only had about 4 days of flush so I hope it still turns out ok! Only took it down about 4 days early. I was worried about hermies.
From the looks of the roots I'd say I should incorporate more H2o2 flushes through the grow. I'll post one more time when I get the final product ready to jar and a final weight.
The Bruce banner smells great. More of a sweet citrus smell, Mild. The taste is interesting. There is a lack of real flavor other then a bit earthy ? No comparison to my outside weeds. The high is great. Just euphoric and tingling in the face and arms.
Weight wise I had about 2.5oz from the Bruce. Also the 2 smaller plants together gave me a little over an oz.
I feel like I did the best I could with what I knew going into it and am excited for the next grow currently on the way!
Preview: King Tut - Northern Lights - and another mold resistant strain. In that order.
