The suspense is over, folks. Heres the master plan.

I started my D.I.Y. tent today, $200 goes a long way at the hardware store!

gonna finish it in 2 weeks when I get my next paycheck, finishing the bottom with shower liner and getting another zipper. Maybe getting a little transparent plastic for viewing windows.

I'll be doing 400w hps, I got a killer deal on 2 400w hps for $80 from a friend who upgraded to L.E.D.

I may have to add a 3rd 400w.

If you have the lights already, you might want to test the strength of your tent, just in case. I am sure it will be fine.

Just hang your lights from your floor joists. You wont break those i guarantee it. That's 2x10

I planned on that. Although I did test my pvc frame and I hung a 15lb weight from each of the roof supports and it diddnt break, but it sagged. Still going to use the joists haha.

I wouldn't trust that 1" PVC. It may hold it, But not for long till it starts to sag. If your have any DIY building questions let me know. I made my won room as well I'm a Carpenter / Electrician.

Thanks man, the pvc was a cheap way to hang the insulation, I never really planned to hang anything else from it.

That's a good idea all the same. I would have just got some 2x3 and built a frame. Probably cheaper than the pipe, but pvc is easier to work with.

You will need to place your plants on platforms to keep them off the cold concrete or insulate the floor. Don't want your root zones to get too cold.

I plan on laying down more bubble insulation I once I get shower underlayment for the floor of the tent. If there is a hydro issue, I dont want a flood.

Finally got the 400w lamps! One internal ballast and the other external. Now to see how they do temp wise in the tent and make necessary adjustments for ventilations and hoods.
