First Grow!

SL i've vegged for almost 8 weeks,it would be 8 weeks day after tomorrow.

My neighbours ain't too bad mate they ain't lived there for long mind you so couldn't tell you what they are really like, just seem like tidy people had a few convo's with them, but not willing to take the risk in the slightest, and the other side well i've lived here for two years and haven't had a convo with them they are a couple in their 30's and are like me keep themselves to themselves,i choose my company v.carefully mate ;-) i can't be dealing with BS so i stick around people i have known and trusted for donkeys years :-)

I used to live next to an older lady like that i couldn't take a sh*t without her phoning the landlord ha ha ha nothing better to do mate ;-)

Sounds like you showed that hippy how to bong mate ha ha winner !!

SABO i'm hoping the filter will be enough but i am going to look into them blocks,it can't hurt to be extra carefull right ? ;-) have them here just incase, they wouldn't go to waste if i didn't use them this grow anyways ;-) i'm sure i will grow a strain that will smell like a tramps gooch in the future ha ha ;-)

VG,

I hear you brother, keep a low profile, blend in and don't make any waves. Those Ona Blocks smell stronger than the weed itself & it's the stuff they use in public restrooms. I hate that smell. If I had a neighbor who'd have a smell like that coming from the apartment, it would make me curious and I'd ask if you were having plumbing problems. :laughtwo: Air fresheners are great & smell better. Coffee grounds absorb odors if you drink coffee. So many other options that you can look into.

:peace:

Guy in grow shop swears by them, ona blocks\gel.better ur house smelling of strong cleaner products, than fresh cannabis.then again virgin,if ur neighbours are in their 30's,then I'd say u have nothing 2 worry about.even if they don't smoke,I'm sure ur OK that way.young people don't grass on others, its always old people, who think they are doing their country an neighbourhood a favour:thumb: fact is they just cant help themselves

Hey VG,

How are things going? It's pretty quiet today. Have the 3 AK-48's outside, it's overcast, but warm. The SKNLs are in the tent getting blasted by the lights. Can get them closer together & really have the 400 HPS pound on them & 2 x 250 Self ballasted CFLs are covering the sides. They are loving it. :peace:

No worries SL :-)

Hey SABO things are good cheers :-) had a little heat stress on a few of the branches on one of the PP but backed the light off a little, for now and turned her a little, going to get a fan to blow over the top half of the plants in the morning either one with a stand or a clip on one :-)
I'm so jelous you can put your ladies outside the weather,it's been gorgeous today and y/day they could have done with some real sun !! lol
Sounds like you have it dialled in lovely, are the side lights expensive to run then ? looking at my ladies i think they may need some side lighting

You did the right thing backing the lights off and getting more ventilation in there. :goodjob: You have your plants dialed in to the "T"! It shows, you're ladies are prettier than mine, because I tortured mine with LST & HST. I'll never win a contest with them though! HaHa!, but I'm proud of what they may produce. It's looking better every day!

Yeah, the plants love it outdoors. I still have to be very careful though. They are behind the house away from everything (Especially, doors & walkways leading to the house). I've been running the light set up almost from the beginning. It only made my electric go up by 30 - 35 dollars a month, so no biggie there.

Yeah, but when you start running fans, humidifiers and Ionizers, along with the lights, the cost goes up a little more. I can't complain, I'm paying 0.10 cents a Kwh "All In". I turned down the thermostat to try and save a little on the electric bill. I'd thought it'd be worse, but it's manageable.

:peace:

Hey VG, I wish I would have known this before I went and got a dehumidifier. In one of CO Finest's posts, he mentioned "Rock Salt". Buy a bag, put some in a bucket in the tent & just watch the humidity drop. Pretty ingenious! CO Finest always has some great tips!

Winner, once again you save the day SABO

I was just on egay looking at de-humidifier's and on google searching DIY ones and looking for different methods without spending too much cash, rock salt it is !! ha ha just found a bag online and can have it delivered by tomorrow ! or i can just go up the road later with a bucket and shovel and help myself to the council's supplies at the side of the road !! ;-)

I bought a stand up fan 16 inch stand up fan today managed to squeeze it in the tent with my ladies turned it on its lowest setting and it was like a tornado in there so that didn't last long, not to mention waste of cash ha ha ha !!

My humidity is between 48-55% and i want it low 40's highest :-)
