First Grow!

Good morning VG, :yahoo: well I crawled out of bed (barely) & found out that I have 2 pages to catch up on your journal. Your ladies look really nice after their bath. I see Peejay stopped by and you have your plan! Great Job & Info to boot!

good night then SABO is it ;-) ha ha lol :-P

Yeah they look much happier and seem to be growing quicker :-) it was the advice i got it was top doller ;-)

Yup,PeeJay stopped in with more sound advice everything is looking good :-)

I'm really looking forward to flip day to see them start to change and thicken up a bit,i was thinking of dropping the hours of light every day approaching 'D-DAY' to prep my ladies fo some change :-) what you think ?

I wouldn't do that, just stick with the transplant & fiming plan and then just g0 12/12. The plants hormones will kick in full power all at once. Just my opinion.

hey guys decided not to hang on any longer to transplant my ladies into their final homes.I am documenting this in my journal for future reference and to help others if i can.

The items i used were :
3 large patio plant pots
1 15kg bag of Gold Label special mix light
1 brand new sterelised stanley blade

I prepped the pots with some of the SML (special mix light) yesterday morning and watered all 3 with nuted,ph'd water with some unsulphered molasses added also

Took the ladies into the bathroom for this and i'm glad i did me and my sausage fingers made one hell of a mess ! ha ha
First of all i removed all of the LST ties i had on my babies and released them from their pots, gave the pots a gentle squeeze around of the sides,i put my hand around the base of the main stem flipped the pots over and gave them a gentle squeeze with the hand i had free they just slid out of the pots

i then kept my lady face down and got the razor blade,i marked the blade with some gorilla tape at 1/4 of an inch as i didn't want to cut any deeper made two cuts at the bottom of the rootball the same width as the pots (forgot to take damn pic grrr)
I then placed my lady on a flat surface got the razor blade and proceeded to make cuts from the top of the rootball to the bottom

I done this 4 times around, imagine you are looking down on the rootball and it is a clock face,i placed cuts at roughly 12,3,6,9 o clock
Then i placed into new pots with prepared medium and filled in the sides with fresh pre soaked SML

I filled to the top making sure i did not bury any more of the stem under fresh soil

I repeated the process for the other two of my ladies

Cheers :peace: VG :peace:

Blue ribbon work! Those well developed root masses have been flushed of nasties. They have ample new medium to grow into. Put your helmet on Virg, those plants are going to get rowdy. There are some bulky buds in your future. :thumb:

hey SL the transplanting is much easier than i thought it would be apart from bein messy it was easy, another pair of hands would have been handy ;-) lol flip day is only 8 days away :-D need to pick up some ionic boost for flowering stage this weekend then i think i will just flip them over on the weekend a little earlier than planned but i can live with that :-)

Cheers PeeJay i was worrying about nothing it went without a hitch ! i used a little more soil than i thought i would apart from that it was mint !! i have several helmets here shall i get the toughest one on ready ;-) ha ha :-)

How do they look inside the tent, Virg? Keep in mind they are going to stretch like crazy when you flip. Here are pictures of my current OG after transplant, then after stretch to give you some idea of how much growth you can anticipate in the next three weeks or so.

Yours have stretched quite a bit mate :-) i am going to give mine a day or so then re-apply the ties because they have all bunched up after releasing their previous ties and its too bunched up for my liking as i want them spaces out for the air to circulate and get better light penetration :-)
They are looking great in their tent Pee Jay don't even think they noticed the transplant, here see for yourself just took these :-)

Cheers SABO

Yeah it didn't seem to bother them i thought they would droop a little but nothing as you can see.I started to tie some of the branches down on the mazar opened up quite alot i'm not pulling them out again now but on my next picture update you can see :-)

Cheers for the reps :-D

Hows your lovely ladies mate ?

OK fair enough.I just keep mine in the bedroom.I would a thought with the light in that tent it wouldn't be good keep in all those plastic bottles in there, but hey,wot do I know.if I done that, any money my tent would catch fire, then my house, then my dog,an if he didn't,I'd throw the fucker in,(only winding),I'd take him by the lead,an lead him in:)

They are doing pretty good. It's only day 2 in my experiment with the cold night time temps. They were really waiting for the sun to come up yesterday morning! Heheheeeee! I can already see some small changes going on with the SKNL colas getting denser. I don't know if it is coming from the cooler temps or the natural development. The AK 48's are still fluffy looking though.

lol SL most of the bottles are pretty thick with exception of the 6 pinter's, the 5ltr bottles with the blue caps can take boiling water from a kettle so i figured they be safe in there,no issues yet ... ha ha ha :-)

Cool SABO wednesday is approaching and i'm looking forward to perving on your ladies parts ha ha :-) if it was from the cooler temps wouldn't it have happend to all of your ladies ? prehaps different strains react differently to the cooler temps and it might just take a little longer than the SKNL :-)
