Ok yeah that makes sense. I just watched a tutorial on VDP charts it’s amazing how with the plants perspiration, humidity and temperatures effects the plants overall growth I’m learning something new everyday. Also I’ve read that you can tell a lot by the temp of the plants leafs is that true?
Yeah I just measured mine with a fluke temp gun and they read 79F also made some adjustments so got RH up to 60% and climbing but it brought temps down to 78F.
I also looked back at my calander and I had my dates mixed up I actually planted the seeds dec 10th and they sprouted a couple days after that. First grow and anticipation has me documenting things wrong but I’m working on getting better at it. So I’m actually at 4weeks and 3 days today since they sprouted and a long road ahead but they seem to be growing and taking the LST pretty good. I guess 4 more weeks of veg and working on getting the girls to fatten up is what I need to work on now.
Wife ran out of bud and is nagging me when they will be ready probably should have done an auto at the same time oh well lol at least I have my tester ready and she will criticize the overall quality of my girls. as long as I don’t mess anything up with overthinking and over touching them! I see what everyone says about caring for them too much. I get on my wife about letting the dogs too close and in the proximity of my grow room and she says nothing will happen they are in a tent. I argue saying I’m not taking any chances lol
Awesome thank you @Pennywise and @Emilya just overthinking again thinking I did something wrong. I had removed my restraints from the LST I was doing thinking it would be easier to water around the plant because I was getting a lot of water hitting the lower leaves leaving spots on them. Maybe it will help them to grow a little better.
Ok the lower branches are growing pretty slow and the tops are going faster from the looks of my pictures would you say it’s safe to top the higher branches for the lower ones to catch up or should I wait another week or so for them to grow out more?
The best way to get the lower branches to start taking dominance is to top or bend down the top growth. The longer you wait to do this, the less time you give to those lower branches to do what you want them to do.
