Day 68 of flower and her hairs are starting to tuck in and brown up nicely. I see a few more amber trichomes every day, but refuse to chop until I see around 30% amber 70% cloudy. . Just a few more days I think! We've had insane amounts of rain lately and it's been hard to keep the humidity down in the tent, but thankfully that's over. It also got up to 64% humidity in my drying room and so I was running through the house like a mad woman turning on fans

Big Mama has a couple more days of drying (the longer the better) and then into jars.... I might pick up some brown paper bags today and use those before jarring.. any thoughts on that please share

Don't judge me for my trimming... I could never be a barber I've found a few seeds so far, but not near as much as I predicted. I'm working on trimming her up and putting in jars as we speak. They only took 6 days to dry to the point of bend, bend, bend, snap. I'll post another update when I'm finished.

I jarred up everything in 3-quart size, wide mouth, mason jars. Definitely didn't yield as much as I wanted from Big Mama, but Shortie looks like she'll have an ounce or 2 more.
The trim I'm going to save and use for butter... so many crystals!!

Looking amazing Chakita! Really stoked for you! Having 3 jars (way more with Shortie) of beautiful looking frost buddage makes the effort and the waiting so much sweeter!

I'll try that on some of Shortie's buds! I'm using them to make butter though so it won't go to waste ☺ Everything else gets thrown in the ol compost pile.

Weve taken a couple grams from Big Mama and it smoked pretty well, smooth, but still with a chlorophyll taste at the end. Head high at first and then you want to go to sleep! Makes me want to talk my poor babes head off. It's good smoke, but definitely not the best I've had.
I'm really excited to try the cured buds, pre cured buds have a boring smell until you grind and then it's a lemon skunk smell
Shortie is finishing up FINALLY!! today is day 71 of flower. I'm still not seeing the right amount of amber though and some white pistils.. so the wait continues... we've flushed for 3 weeks!!!!
