First Grow - White Widow Fem - Soil - LED

Aphid poop(honeydew)and some bag seeds I might try to germinate. Inspected leaves and didn't find any bugs on that leaf though so the ladybugs are kicking ass! There's always a handful of ladybugs on each plant and then the rest are getting it on or napping

Oh okay I've seen that on my girl outside crap need to do some reding there chakita

I always forget about soapy water - that is exactly what to do during flower .... the soap coats the reproductive glands like neem oil does but is a lot less harsh .... just a drop of dawn or some similar ( un scented ) dish soap in a spray bottle .

Hey question I have neem
Oil concentrate. I took like a few mils and added it to rain water shake every time I apply. Is it saw to use in flower? Also do you use just the actually concentrate or do you mix. Any pointers on neem oil would be solid man

They were doing great from seeds even with me not getting my tent on time. I think because I'm trying too many ways to keep my heat down and my humidity up. My lights are the K51000 I have a gorilla grow tent 5x5 with the carbo filter. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean forest They were doing great until I started with vermisterra worm casting tea now that I can think of it. It's every other week it was given. So far it's day 22 I believe and they had it twice. Notice some droopyness so I tried some Mammoth P 0.6ml. This was the first time with that as well. Wow your God sent because now it's making me realize what might be wrong. Before all of this I was just using RO water. I was worried because my temperature would get hotter at night because I'm always home and I would run them 4pm to 10am. Then temps would go as high as 86 sometimes with clip on fans. Humidity would only be 44. Now I went out the other day and brought a humidifier to bring the humidity up. Please don't laugh I'm losing sleep LOL. Thank God I'm retired so have time to keep a close eye on them. I call super grow yesterday and they asked me to use the meter to see if the soil was too dry. I just water them 2 days ago and it was bone dry already. I gave them plain RO water yesterday. So now how can I test my soil? Am I thinking ahead after knowledge of how to test the soil maybe having to flush it.

last week's picture

So this is the soil tester I use - cost llike $ 13 - works great if you follow the instructions ....
the runoff is good to test but all the action is where the roots are

Yah use the instructions and mix with water - works best in one of those pump sprayers but I use just a trigger spray ... you can use it in flower but can't soak the flowers with it - I would prefer lady bugs in flower for sure... it's most important to get the underside of each leaf well

Thank you so so much yeah I got a trigger bottle myself I use when haven't used I give good shakes before spraying but never did underneathe. So no buds but okay on stems and leafs fans

Thanks again phil

You could probably put little Ziploc bags over your buds while you spray

Look at you !! Damn you smoking something that is creative ? Thanks I will try that.

I just came from from the store

I would not trust soil ph readings from that entirely, water in general I would as a guide, I've had 3 of those 3 ways, only 1 seemed to work for ph and never in a pot, but on harder packed soil like my lawn. As for mositure, they're better but not for first 2" of loose soil. Maybe I got some from a bum batch though, but if it never moves off around 8 when you flip it to ph and wait 10min in moist soil... probably not working. I tried the rub some steel wool trick on the 2 that seem not to function at all, didn't help. Did help with the 3rd one though. /2cents

I'll give you an update soon

update I stripped some of the leaves that was not going to make it. Took some of the new grow from underneath. My soil ph read very high Alkaline. Believe it or not my RO water is harder then my regular water which is treated. I PH down the water to 6.5. My drain water solution coming out of the soil was over 300. Ppm. So I gave it straight water to help flush. That's What I get for adding nutrients too soon with my ph of the soil being too high. I hope they will make a good comeback will update you in a few days

You got this deboking They are resilient plants, I put mine through hell at the beginning and they bounced back. I think you're right to flush it. i have a soil meter but stopped using it when it didnt work. Runoff is always around 6.5 so that method works for me.

Thanks so much because sleep hasn't been good for me. Question what ph test do you use for your water and solution run off

Idk about others but thus far I've used both a digital pen and ph droplet tests for run-off on each of my samples (sanity checking one another), you want the tail end of the run off not the first wave that comes out if you can manage it, or so I read, also if you can manage the collection sample such that it doesn't touch the saucer etc all the better.

I have a ppm meter I collected from the first run off. The ppm was about 350ppm. So then I use just use plain water ph down to 6.2. I give them some time to recover.
