First grow-Michigan Medical Marijuana-2009

TheCriMsonk20, yes indeed, you can run the lights 24/0 and push them. We grew our last auto's on 24/0, worked out quite well. I actually have them on a 22/2 schedule so far. I do need to get the largest Blueberry under 2700k light soon to maximize the bud growth and yields.

Yeah, I definitely think my first batch of seeds I buy will be auto flowers.

I think with every strain i buy seeds for, I will pollinate and get more seeds.. Why buy them again when you can make them?

Still looking very, very nice. Loving those Jamaican Buds, very jealous. All other are looking very green and healthy. I think you are going to have some pretty cramped hands manicuring all those lovely meds. Great job on the plants and the journal.

LOL @ MDVL..:) She knows me and tinkering go hand in hand. I have almost all that I need. Do have to order the lids..oops...forgot them. I have a lot of tedious work to do to get them ready. Have to tap a dozen fittings, cut and shape the ring halves, plus make the tiny holes in the ring halves. I also need to make the float switch to control the return reservoir pump. Need to purchase one more 90 degree elbow and then tap the other 5 drain holes for them. All fittings are getting silicone sealant so as to prevent any leaks. Should have it ready to test on sat. Just a wet run to test all my fittings and the pumps.

Stully, I do believe they will work. My only concern are the pumps. 145 gph seems like a lot, but when split 6 ways, well..we shall see. For the trial run, we will be using 6 gro-buckets with 3 reservoir and one return reservoir. All are 5 gallon black buckets. The six grow buckets will sit inside of 6 orange home depot buckets as I only ordered 15 black buckets on this order. I forgot to order the lids for the reservoirs, and need a few more fittings. I will order them on friday. I will probably start out with CFL's until I/We can afford a 600watt HPS? I will hope to start construction on the tent next week. I have choosen to use 2" dia pvc for the tent frame. I will "skin" it first in mylar, then add a layer of 4 mil black plastic. I will vent with the old reliable 6" dia inline duct fan. That will make it easier to add a cool tube or other vented hood light unit.

Tunes420, always a pleasure to see ya stop by bro. Thanks for the positive reinforcement bro, very much appreciated.

GMT, What plans do you have to make the tent accessible? I'm finding it a pain in the ass to have to move the mylar every time I want to get inside my grow box. I thought about making some sort of door for it, but with PVC, it's kind of difficult due to its flexibility.

Wow GMT1975A, a lot has gone on since I've last visited. Talk of pollination is great, there's no better way to get seeds than making them yourself! Those Jamaican's are getting fat and pretty close to chop time. I'm curious as far as how much you'll yield from #1 and #2. Keep up the great work my friend! :Rasta:

hey bud Home Depot is selling these great totes that will make nice reservoirs.. $12 bucks each Just picked up 8 for storage and upcoming hydro modifications

HD has cheap high quality reservoirs.

TheCriMsonK20, I plan to utilize a access panel out of the same material, using velco to hold it closed. I want it large enough to be able to reach in to shift buckets as required. Probably in the neighborhoof of 4' x 4' would do.

Dead Tour09, Thank you bro, appreciate your comments and your stoppin in bro. Would be nice to see 6-8 ozs per plant for sure.

McBudz, thank you for the info bro. MDVL just picked up 4 large totes as well. I have 4 - 5 gallon buckets for reservoirs as well. It will work for this grow. I ran a test on the pumps using 6 grow buckets. Now I need to set up the drains in the grow buckets, assemble the float switch and wire it in to the second pump. Then the system will pretty much be ready to run a 24 hr test on. As alaways, great seein ya here bro, and thanks for the heads up on the totes. Much appreciated.

Okay...this takes the cake. I think we have a male here, one of the Blueberries is getting a very early start..horny little chit. Check out these pics.
