First Grow! Lets Go!

In my opinion that range could even go up to 55%
Thats night time temp/humidity

@GreenFingaz Thanx man, thanx so much for visiting and offering up encouragement it means a lot. Like my AV hobby, i only have forum support when i get involved in a new hobby. This one has been immensely satisfying, and with some nice buds, it’ll compliment my movie watching experience :0)

Lites are pulling 300watts, lux is approx 35K, par (approx) 525 @ 19” away. No leaf bleaching or ill effects….

Im still doing very light canopy maintenance trying to just snip here and there to open up for lite. I watered and they are using at least a gallon and a half each per 2-3days or when light in weight, with a cup or so of run off@65PH. They were transplanted with new amendments so i dont need to top dress for at least 2wks/3wks depending on how they look. With dry amendments if you wait til they need them, you are late, as you know it takes time for them to become real plant food…..

RH levels,

Veg- 10-15% from the temp (80F = 65-70%RH )
Flower-20-25% from the temp (75F = 50-55%RH)

We dry and try to maintain 60%RH, so growing in it shouldnt be a problem.

The problem with mold, Bud Rot, and PM is from a strong influx of moisture and not dry out before darkness falls.

Buds get rot if they are either wet from rain, or again, ALOT of visible moisture, like added from humiditier, and trapped between bud layers and not dryed out before darkness, mainly from lack of wind and heat.

I have a rule of thumb, well, a couple. lol

If your Leaf temp is 80F, in Veg, you want a 10 to 15 point difference from the temp. So, your humidity should be 65-70%RH in veg. If your temp is 75F, you minus 10-15 points off temp, so humidity should be in the range of 60-65%RH.

So, a 10-15 point swing from the temp in Veg stage.

In flower, 80F, you want a 20-25 point difference off the temp. So 80F should be in the range of 55-60%RH
If its 75F, you want to be around 50-55%RH.

Just a quick range to keep it around is all it is. Some strains perfer dryer air, some like wetter air.
