First Grow In 10 Years: DWC Bagseed, Sherbert

For some reason I wasnt getting updated on this journal =(. Looking good, glad you stuck it out this late in flower. It always sucks when that happens with the hermie. Just check to make sure you have no light leaks or lights inside the tent on for next one. Most tents have a few pin holes around them. So hard to get 100% darkness with them, At least for my cheaper ones. I have blackout curtains wrapped around mine for added light protection.

Awesome grow @Michael Hunt! Can't wait to see your numbers, and of course a smoke report :ganjamon: :bong:

I'm also glad that the choice to continue her worked out, and absolutely love your setup!

Thanks man. From the research we've done on what we think this strain is, she isn't a huge producer at an average of 8oz per plant indoors. What we end up getting from her looks and smells very promising :yummy: A smoke report will definitely go along with this at the end.

All gravy man welcome back :passitleft:

We gorilla taped every temp sensor in there and the little green light on the dehumidifier that was added. Short of climbing in there with her, i'm pretty sure we got her all sealed up. We've been doing something similar with a moving blanket during the day when the lights are off. Just gotta be home to take it off when it turns back on.

The ugly little ducklings :p

@HunterNitro Haha yes they are. They were taken a week or two before the odd growth started, and then stopped. So i’m hoping these were unaffected by that whole mess. We took em mainly to see if i still had the cloning touch. :hookah: No idea what we’re going to do though.

Awesome! I see you popped a Gorilla grape seed as well? Whats the plans for that? DWC again?
Unfortunately i have no real plan for this one either. Been battling the permit office over plans for an addition i'd like to build sometime soon. If i can make that happen in short enough order, we'll be doing another DWC run again with the sherbet clones and the gorilla grapes. Recirculating next time as well. If not, maybe a forest somewhere will get some random plants planted in it. I'd rather give them away to nature then trash em anyways.

Attached are my plants that hermied during early flower.
I kept 2 and let them finish.
These photos are right at week 6.
Seeds are very evident in the bud sites.
I think you are pretty safe at this point based on what happened w/ me.

that is probably the most calming thing i have read in quite a while. Thank you for sharing :thumb:

Well tonight was an eventful night! :lot-o-toke: She really seems to be cutting back on the food already. Ppm has spiked to 1100 from about 700 the past couple days. She’s still drinking about a gallon and a half a day and the ph has been hovering in the 5.6-5.8 range.

The bud sites are finally starting to swell and fall over. So we added 10 yo-yo’s and could use about a dozen more. Also had to address the smell with a better filter. This time it is a 6x16 phat filter which is probably twice as heavy as the filter it is replacing. A true pain in the ass to change out in the tent, with the plant in place, light running, and 10 freshly hung yo-yo’s scattered around.

I agree nice looking plant.

thanks smokey! Some purples and magentas are starting to show a bit so we’re trying to keep things cold at night. She’s at 66*f right now with the lights off.

End of the weekend update :passitleft:

Due to an acid rain issue in the tank on saturday the big girl got her week 7 juice 2 days early. We dropped the ppm down to 700ish and she’s starting to eat and drink again like normal. The pistils are turning orange all over. I’d venture to guess probably 70% of the pistils above the canopy have turned already. Thankfully a few of the lower sites are bursting with fresh white hairs. She really seems to be finishing out FAST. Gonna order a usb scope this week to start monitoring the trichomes. As they say, “pics or it didn't happen”:bongrip:

The girls look great. Wonderful grow.

A little photo update from last night. Got stoned with the misses and completely forgot to upload the pictures i had taken. Taken with a Nikkon D3500 and a Polarizer lens to cut down some of the awful glare from the light.
