I grow mostly regular seeds and although I've never made a conscious note of it I believe the males show their sex a week or two after the females.
That could be, but everything I have referenced states males show their sex before the females.

I wouldn’t worry about flipping them yet. Right now you have the fan leaves tied down. Once the stems grow a little longer you will start tying them down instead of the fan leaves. I would train those stems all the way out to the edge of the pot and then let them get a little vertical from that point. Then flip! As those branches are being trained out to the edge of the pot you will have shoots growing off of them. They tend to alternate which direction they grow off your main stems. You will have a set come from the sides and then a set come out up and down. When you get those just go ahead and pinch off the ones that shoot off the bottom of your main branches. They won’t reach the canopy and removing g them will allow the energy they were using to be better used elsewhere. Hopefully that’s not too confusing. Lol. Main takeaway....don’t worry about flipping yet. Train branches toward edge of pot. Remove shoots that come off the bottom of branches.

Not confusing, I get what you are saying. Thanks for the detailed information, it really helps.

And that's why Mr Magoo does so well with his plants. He's also so much better at describing things than me. Nice job Magoo, and thanks. It was a good refresher for me as well.

Update the girls seem to be doing great the new growth is taking off well. Do i tie down some of the branches that come off the main branches when they get taller to open the middle back up?

Hi Dank,
use your fingers to spread them open each time you are in the tent. I have used small pieces of pipe cleaners to "handcuff" them to lower stronger branches. Make sure the cuffs are like J's and not wrapped around. You don't want to be snapping things. I wouldn't worry too much about the inners yet other than spreading them open gently.
Mr Magoo might have more detailed info.

Yeah. Those little sprouts in the middle are your main branches. What you have strapped down right now is just a fan leaf. No harm in keeping them pulled down I suppose but very soon you will have enough length to tie those upper branches down. Like Sauga said, when you get in the tent just gently push them down a bit. Not hard just enough to let them know where they’re headed. Lol. Just keep us posted with pics and we can tell you when it’s time to start the training on those branches.

It’s not really serving a purpose. If you can undo it safely I would. I may put some of the pipe cleaner c clips on mine later. If I do I’ll shoot ya a pic and see if that’s something you might want to try.
