First Grow Ever, Excited, Anxious & A Little Scared

Personally we have had it pretty stressful. Thanks so much for the reply.
When I am able to think clearly and focus, tomorrow, I'll make the cut.

Have a great night!!

First Time Grow

Regarding when to begin LST I'd say as soon as possible ...
What I do is use copper core electrical wire (the electricians' wire for domestic lighting - it's slightly thinner core than the wire used for power socket ringmain)
Get a length say six inches long, bend it into a tight U shape - gather the stem with this, put the wire U into the soil so that it lightly drags the stem down & bends it over
Might need to modify the curve of the wire so it gathers the stem better
No need to damage the plant by HST stem stressing/breaking
As the plant grows inch by inch, adjust the wire U so that it continues to apply light pressure, guiding growth sideways
You will find that inner / lower growth will start to take more of a lead so that instead of growing tree like it grows more bush like
Do this for any stem that you can bend enough to stay under a wire U
Then what I do when I've transferred into big bucket pot, I've drilled 16 holes around the rim of my buckets and i use these to continue their LST training
I've got four plants completely covering the area of their tent, 1.5m x 1.5m floor
That's like 80 plus cola tops all around the same height, which means that they all get similar light intensity rather than having tall singular plants with few top colas :)
Don't be too keen to switch to flowering as more time in veg training means higher yield

Any input is welcome...

I haven't started nutrients and I believe that it is time to start. The long term, consistent, and extreme care has caught me off guard. On one side I know that topping the girls is not going to hurt them as a whole but a part of me feels awkward with it. I feel awkward because I think it has stressed the plants.

The 600 watt led is 4' above them. The temperature was 88 when I got home but I cooled it off to 76 within a couple of hours. I underestimated their water intake and they were the driest they had been so they both got 2 quarts of water two hours ago.

I feel a little down on myself for mistreating them. Any votes of confidence and affirmation or critique is welcome.

Their ph is still around 6

Nutrient deficiency signs are slower to appear than nutrient burn, and i think less damaging
Nute def creeps in but a bad case of burn will rush in
Therefore take it easy with the nutes, weak, slow, gentle

Plant magic calmag is a great supplement - good idea to introduce at this stage - that particular brand also includes all the micro nutrients you'll need
I started adding it a few months ago and use it every feed (that's daily now)

If you're in soil pH should be around 6.5, I'm in coco & my pH is 6.0 every time

Picked up some cal-mag from the local hydro store.

Mixed at half strength and each received 1 pt.

Two hours later and the GDP is getting the color into its tips.....amazing!!

The Strawberry Cough hasn't responded as much but we will water MORE often. Start nutes at quarter strength.

It seems that they have wore our their pocket of soil. The man at the hydro store suggested to dig out the girls and pack in some fresh batch64-moonshine and wait on starting the nutes until they get a little bigger by getting more use of the soil.. he also mentioned burning the roots.

My thought is that it doesn't matter whether i start nutes now or later. Any comments critiques or affirmations?!

Thanks guys, and gals!

They look very healthy and vigorous. How about a pic of the base of the stem. I'm a stem man. Good thick stems make good plants; tomatoes or any garden plant....harry lyme

I am trying not to freak out. In fact I am humbled a bit by this process.

Today I noticed white spots. I think it's either nutrient deficient or too much light. The blended yellow colors are coming back.

Not to sure if I should try nutrients because the soil is still very wet. I also thought about taking this one out during the day because the other is so happy and healthy. The other has only a few of these spots. I think the strawberry cough is more sensitive.

Your feedback is so awesome!! Any help here is much appreciated!
