First Grow Diary 2021: Brooklyn Mangoes, One Plant in Scrog, California System

it was 3 grow ago , last year , early 2020 just before the virus , ive changed tent since and i use a massive fan inside , before i just had air in and air out

now ive got air in and out and huge fan in

no i don't have any thing , plant look healthy , its me , i want to avoid it to come , humidity is at 70 now .. i got huge ventilation , i am just scare that's all but so far i didn't see any thing

i was just wondering it it start from the root or no

so far so good , i have like 3/4 weeks left , the plant looks healthy , i am trying to get this grow done that's all

from tomorow from the weather , the humidity is going to drop
i am just paranoid ....
thx you for your answer
I've never had the mildew start from the roots, but I have had other problems start there. Pythium mold starts in roots and will move into the plant and cause eventual bud rot. You'll see it first as brown spots on the stalk. It can turn into webbed mold where the buds start to rot, yes. That stuff is terrible.

Good to be paranoid!
70 is a bit too high still. And that's also the right humidity when spider mites will attack, along with mildew- keep an eye out.

it's been raining since last Sunday .... that's why it so high ...
it was so hot for summer .... and now autumn just kick in ...

usually it's around 40-45, 50 MAX ( just after watering then i remove run off , it goes back to normal )

it's because the rain ... it has a lot of rain this last 6 days .. and very humid weather ... very very unusual for this part of the country .. usually even when it rain , it's not so humid , we feel like in southern Asia right now

It's finish today ( from weather channel they say)

it's me im paranoid ,but like you say it's good

i am trying to do everything i can in order to not have any problem ...
This girl is so much work ......

thx for your kind advice

ok tmr i go hydro store again to ask for something like you say '
im not sure if this exact product is available in AUS

i need to go ask , we had trouble to get this brand last year if i remember well
That's how I found out about it. My local store gave it to me for my outdoor pm issue a few years back. Late in flower too. After a while the PM kind of stopped so that was good.

I think @InTheShed is using Citric acid in flower.
I do! It has no negative effect on the pistils or the buds, and it washes right off after harvest.

My recipe is:
500ml distilled water
5g food grade citric acid
8-12 pipette drops of dish soap
Shake well to mix.
(Scale up or down as needed)

I spray everything tops and bottoms and stems. I even pull the buds away from the stems to get where the PM hides.

Turn the fans off for an hour to let the stuff work before it evaporates.

ok pictures coming :high-five:

RH have drop today , it's just under 58 :420:
From next week it's back to normal , hot and dry so sweet :lot-o-toke: :lot-o-toke: :adore:

she seems doing ok , what do you think guys ?

i can't wait for harvest , it's been so long , she should have finish a month ago
:passitleft:

i see no sign of mold or anything , it start to stink a bit
I think it's because of the Huge ventilation system

:bongrip:

BOOKMARKED!

She is a beaut for sure. If 58% RH is low, I think you still have a problem.

She is really big for that space.

Isn't it just now the end of your outdoor grow season?

I would ransom my kingdom for a dehumidifier or two, whatever it takes to bring the humidity below 40%.

yesterday night humidity was 95 per cent ( outside weather not in the tent )

if it doesnt go down in the next few day , i ll go get the dehumidifier ...

yes it's start of autumn now here , end of outdoor grow season i suppose
i never grow outdoor , im not sure

you advice me to spray what you saY ?
No, not if you don't have pm. Maybe we're having a communication issue. Last we talked you were going to the store and speak to your people about something like what we were talking about for future use. If you think the plants are ok now then so do I. Bud washing when they finish should take care of any that got in the bud if it never got too bad. You mentioned you have lots of fresh air moving. Let's hope for that to work.
